This blocked user's request to have autoblock on their IP address lifted has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request.

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Jigahurtz". The reason given for Jigahurtz's block is: "sockpuppet of DeathSeeker as per Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/DeathSeeker".

Request reason:

The reason I was blocked wasn't for trouble making, it was for tagging my alternate account with the alternate account template, see above for link

Decline reason:

This was a block based on the fact that the alternate account is an account used to evade a block placed on some other account. All of this is concurrent with WP:SOCK and WP:BPRyūlóng (竜龍) 02:20, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Per Wikipedia:Assume Good Faith. After reviewing your case further, I now believe that I had acted a bit hastily in blocking you. You started editing Xbox 360 after the block on DeathSeeker (talk ·  contribs) had already expired for WP:3RR violations using the account Jigahurtz (talk ·  contribs), thus you did not violate Wikipedia:Sock puppetry and I also acknowledge that your recent editing to Xbox 360 do not appear to have been as disruptive as those that resulted in DeathSeeker's earlier blocks. You were also forthright about acknowledging the link between this account and Jigahurtz, though technically, you really should have stated that this is an alternate account of DeathSeeker since that was your original account. As long as you do not resume editing Wikipedia disruptively using both accounts in tandem and you disclose their nature, then I see no reason to block you. I regret any inconvenience caused by my earlier misjudgement.

Your recent edit warring[edit]

I have asked Netsnipe to reapply your block, since you are engaged in exactly the same sort of sockpuppetry and 3RR violations that got you into trouble in the first place. Also, I've reported your most recent 3RR violation here. Regards, Nandesuka 23:56, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The original editor's edit was perfectly acceptable. Your revert (which you've now stretched into a WP:3RR) was unwarranted. You do not WP:OWN this article. - (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 05:10, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3RR[edit]

I have reported your latest 3RR violation here. - (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 05:48, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User notice: temporary 3RR block[edit]

Regarding reversions[2] made on November 27 2006 to Xbox 360[edit]

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
The duration of the block is 1 week, considering the fact that you just came off of a 72-hour block. Khoikhoi 06:01, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:XboxLivePipeline.JPG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:XboxLivePipeline.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. MECUtalk 23:52, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edits on the Xenos article, it is not appropriate to simply copy-and-paste articles when moving them.

When you moved the content from Xenos into Xenos (disambiguation), you did not preserve the history of the page.

Instead, you should have used the Move function available to you in the tabs at the top of all article pages, and moved the article from Xenos to Xenos (disambiguation). Then, you could have edited the Xenos article with the content of the ATI chip.

Please remember this for future reference. Thanks, 203.158.56.234 08:02, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:GRIT_boxart.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:GRIT_boxart.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Seraphim Whipp 14:48, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
