[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Torsades de pointes  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 19:45, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted edit on list of convenience stores

[edit]

Hello, I see you reverted my recent edit of List of Convenience stores of the United Kingdom. This is fine with me; all I do is behind-the-scenes cleanup and have no deep connection to this subject. I do want to make sure I'm understanding the rules correctly, though.

Per the MOS, tables' titles go in sentence case, with only the first word capitalized. That's what I did. Is this not correct? If so, please let me know how. As I understand it, my edit to "Current convenience stores of the UK" is correct, whereas "Current Convenience stores of the UK" is not. (I see that "convenience" is also capitalized in the article's title - I believe this is an error, as it's not a proper noun.)

Further into my edit, I capitalized a bunch of table headings which were entirely in lower case. "image," "notes," things like that. Correctly, those columns should be titled "Image" and "Notes." By reverting my edit, you put them back into lower case, which I understand to be incorrect.

Please let me know if I'm not grasping something here, but from my reading of the MOS (I can provide links if you like), I am just not understanding the reversion of my edit, and I'd like to, to make sure I'm on the right track here. Thank you! Jessicapierce (talk) 17:15, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
