Infobox dates[edit]

Hi, when updating infobox stats you should update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats, by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 22:06, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep this in mind. Mattythewhite (talk) 19:42, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox dates[edit]

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Jackson Irvine were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 16:47, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Live updates[edit]

Please do not update match stats (whether a player’s or a club’s or a league table etc.) until the player’s involvement in the match has finished / the match itself has finished. That means (especially, for example, another goal is scored) that errors can be minimised. Many thanks. GiantSnowman 16:01, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox stats[edit]

Please note that we only include domestic league games in the infobox - so no Cup or Continental matches etc. Please also ensure that when you update the stats you also update the date, using ~~~~~. If you have any questions please ask. GiantSnowman 16:01, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Again - please ensure you update the date when you update the stats. GiantSnowman 19:02, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
