Speedy deletion nomination of Human-dolphin sexual intercourse
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Human-dolphin sexual intercourse, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I note that the deletion was declined, and I think that I owe you an apology. Sorry! --Tryptofish (talk) 22:03, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
The article Zoosexual adoption has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- appears to be WP:OR - the one reference has nothing to do with adoption
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PamD (talk) 23:23, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Your edits / articles on zoophilia
[edit]Hey! I've noticed you've made a large number of edits and new articles on topics related to zoophilia. However a lot of the edits seem to make no sense what so ever. The zoosexual adoption article seems to lack any point, there's no country in the world that I know of where there is a debate over if you can both have sex with an animal AND raise an adopted child at the same time. Infact, google suggests it's just a term you made up yourself right now, since this wikipedia article is the only place in the universe where it exists. Likewise, there's no reason why there should be specific mention of if you can serve in the military AND have sex with animals at the same time. There's never been any serious legal debate on that anywhere, I'm pretty sure of that - and even if you could find a single instance somewhere (most likely then based on an example where someone was not allowed to join the military based on his / her sexual exploits with animals) there'd not be enough reason to try and find it out for every single country because there's just no examples / legal framework for it. Besides that, there's no reason why to single out the military in specific. There is a reason why there's debate over homosexuals in the military, which is that you tend to spend a lot of time working very close with the same gender, but in a hostile environment. I can see why there's room for debate there. I don't see what the issue would be with zoophilia. They worry that soldiers might end up shagging the local donkeys?
I know a lot of zoophiles seem to have this idea that their struggle is identical to that of the LGBT community, but that's not so since it's quite simply not the same thing. To me it seems like adding issues like adoption and joining military service is aimed at trying to make having sex with animals SEEM as the same sort of struggle - when it's just not so.
The same with making articles for having sex with specific animals. These articles seem much to specific and have little to contribute. Besides, there's going to be a huge number of articles if you plan to make one for every animal a person has ever had sex with. And what are they to contain? A how-to guide on giving oral sex to dolphins? A list of horse breeds most suitable for having sex with without a bucket? I'm just not sure what these articles are to contain. The historic things mentioned in the goat article (though I realise this article isn't one you've made - but perhaps did inspire you to make more) have a place already in the historic and cultural perspectives article.

- Suggestions:
- 1) Merge all articles such as human-dolphin sexual intercourse into one article (right now as far as I know there are 4 of them); chances are that if they're not merged they'll get deleted (even the human-goat article, which I suspect will get deleted eventually)
- 2) Modify Template:ZoosexualityLaws so that it is smaller and doesn't have military/adoption columns (after much searching I was unable to find any references for those two columns). If the unecessary columns are removed, it might be possible to have two countries per row instead of one.
- 3) Keep the map images on zoophilia and the law as it can be proven which countries have which laws35th4gv834 (talk) 04:32, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Nomination for deletion of Template:ZoosexualityLaws
[edit]Template:ZoosexualityLaws has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Thank you. SnottyWong confess 04:28, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- FYI: As part of my nomination for deleting this template, I suggested that the content might be appropriately userfied. Since you are the creator and main contributor of the content, you would likely be the one with an interest in keeping the content in your user space. As such, you might want to contribute to this discussion and comment as to whether you would want this content copied to your user space in the event that it gets deleted. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. — Jeff G. ツ 04:45, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- So apparently every time I forget to sign, a message appears on my talk page.35th4gv834 (talk) 05:15, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yup. In the future, if you want to nurture articles and expand them before putting them in the article space, try a user subpage. Also, since the talk page of the article that we were talking at got deleted, here's a link for you that I put there that you may find interesting: WP:WIHS. Airplaneman ✈ 16:14, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
