Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (50.224.167.210) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! apap04¿ (talk) 22:31, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Columbus Day—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 17:33, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
How to edit Wikipedia
[edit]Hi, I noticed your edits on Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School and Columbus Day. I just want to let you know that Wikipedia is a place where only objective information is conveyed. Your edit on Plymouth High was inappropriate because it presented an opinion, rather than an objective fact. Same goes with Columbus Day, as much as I agree with you that Columbus Day is not a holiday to celebrate, that's not something to express on Wikipedia. There is currently a section on the Opposition to Columbus Celebrations. If you want to contribute to significant occurrences or information pertaining to that, you may. But please don't vandalize the article with subjective content.
If you need help in figuring out what should and should not be included on Wikipedia, I recommend you click one of the links to the Welcome section at the top of this talk page. These links can help guide you to knowing how a Wikipedia page is constructed. If you need further assistance, I personally wouldn't be of much help for editing in general, as I specialize in high school articles. However, there are many other avenues to get help/advice. Most experienced editors will be happy to take the time to give you some advice, and there are also talk pages on Manuals, as well as help desks, where people are willing to help you with any questions you may have. After looking up the IP address, I realize this is a school IP address. So in general to any students using Wikipedia at Chestnut Hill College, please edit Wikipedia responsibly. TheGEICOgecko (talk) 05:47, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Isaac. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Thegreatluigi (talk) 13:57, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
