You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (50.66.176.46) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a new Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

[edit]Hello, I'm 2001:569:74EF:BD00:6CC2:EA6E:E79:BF68. I noticed that you recently removed content from Calgary-Lougheed without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. 2001:569:74EF:BD00:6CC2:EA6E:E79:BF68 (talk) 01:43, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Calgary-Lougheed, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. 2001:569:74EF:BD00:6CC2:EA6E:E79:BF68 (talk) 03:06, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Calgary-Lougheed, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. 2001:569:74EF:BD00:6CC2:EA6E:E79:BF68 (talk) 03:39, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Calgary-Lougheed. 2001:569:74EF:BD00:6CC2:EA6E:E79:BF68 (talk) 03:50, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
Editing by unregistered users from your shared IP address or address range may be currently disabled due to abuse. However, you are still able to edit if you sign in with an account. If you are currently blocked from creating an account, and cannot create one elsewhere in the foreseeable future, you may follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account to request that volunteers create your username for you. Please use an email address issued to you by your ISP, school or organization so that we may verify that you are a legitimate user on this network. Please reference this block in the comment section of the form.
Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. We apologize for any inconvenience. — Coffee // have a ☕️ // beans // 04:08, 19 December 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please note that a non-returning (retired or defeated) MNA's term in office ends at the dissolution of the legislature that started the election, not at election day. The correct end date for a non-returning MNA's term is August 29, not October 1. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 20:43, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
