Welcome to Wikipedia!
I'm Paine Ellsworth, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge. Although you're free to perform most tasks on Wikipedia without registering, it's highly recommended you create an account as there are many added benefits. It's private and secure and it's also free, simple, and quick to do.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. If you register an account, you can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you could put a link to it on your user page.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your IP address linked to your contributions page (however, if you create an account, your IP address will be hidden and you will be able to build a custom signature that can link to your own user page), a link to this IP's talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Disambiguated links
[edit]Just to let you know, Viacom is now a disambiguation page. So when you link to the company, the way you did at Viacom18 Motion Pictures, please use:
[[Viacom (2005–present)|Viacom]]
Thank you for your edits and your support in this! P. I. Ellsworth, ed. put'r there 19:47, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
Recent edit to Hattrick (film)
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Hattrick (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! [edit]Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to List of Universal Music Group artists, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Robvanvee 07:12, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Do not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia, like you did at Wesley Safadão. Such attempts to avoid detection or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Binksternet (talk) 12:23, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
[edit]Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on J Balvin. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Robvanvee 15:29, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
