Welcome
[edit]If you are going to add content to an article, particularly to a biography of a living person, you will need to cite your sources. We don't accept original research on wikipedia. So the source has to have the same conclusion as what you write (but paraphrased in your own words). IRWolfie- (talk) 20:33, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm PhantomTech. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Peter Green (historian)— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. PhantomTech (talk) 23:42, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit]Hello, I'm Asartea. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to College of Saint Rose—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Asartea Talk | Contribs 05:59, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
- Asartea, this information is included elsewhere in the article. 74.76.164.230 (talk) 06:00, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
- That might be the case but it also fits perfectly there Asartea Talk | Contribs 06:01, 11 November 2020 (UTC)

Edit-warring
[edit]You are edit-warring at Ken Wahl. Per WP:BRD, protocol after being reverted the first time is to go to the article's talk page and try to reach consensus with other editors. Instead, you re-reverted. I would also note that you are editing under two different aliases, this IP and 74.67.45.185. If you continue edit-warring rather than discussing on the talk page, admin intervention will be required.--Tenebrae (talk) 15:15, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Thisisnotcam. I noticed that you recently removed content from Conservative Democrats without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Hi! I'd recommend building consensus on the talk page before blanking a section, per WP:CON. ɯɐɔ 💬 04:01, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thisisnotcam, what are you talking about? 74.76.164.230 (talk) 04:03, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
- My edit summary said, "remove dubious and tagged listing of Woodrow Wilson, who was a progressive." I think that explanation is perfectly adequate. You are entitled to disagree, but posting a notice on a user page about an inadequate explanation is uncalled-for. Please delete. 74.76.164.230 (talk) 04:08, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hey, this was specifically re: the blanking of the mention of Woodrow Wilson, like you brought up -- while there was a [dubious – discuss] tag, the section had ample sourcing and there wasn't any consensus built on the talk page, which should probably be done before just outright deleting a section like that. This isn't a point of whether I agree/disagree, but more that there should at least be a good faith attempt for consensus prior to deletion, or finding sourcing. Also not a comment on your editing skills! I just wanted to let you know why I reverted the edit itself. Hopefully this helps? ɯɐɔ 💬 04:14, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

Nice edit on the Neil Young article. That is a much better section header. Thanks! Joyous! Noise! 02:06, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
