Shyrokyne
[edit]First, accusing a fellow Wiki editor of making false statements is contrary to WP: Civil and WP: Good faith. Second, all sources say the rebels withdrew but nothing about the Ukrainians recapturing the village. In fact, a report from just yesterday by a Ukrainian Azov soldier [1] said the town is not controlled by anyone and the Ukrainians are holding positions on a nearby hill outside it in case the rebels come back. The only thing that I found to back up what you said is a report by an Azov member from a few days ago where he claimed Shyrokyne is Ukraine, which does not necessarily mean they control it, plus its unreliable and the report is older than the one I just linked to you. As for the casualties, we have started making steps with the extraordinary casualty claims and if you check you will see we have removed the propaganda casualty claims from the main War in Donbass infobox. In regard to the 5-6 killed and 56 wounded separatists, its noted those figures are only until the end of February. And it says nowhere that the Ukrainians suffered 200+ killed and 500 wounded, it says 60+ killed and 200 wounded (as confirmed by the Ukrainians themselves). Regards! - I never accused you of intentionally posting propaganda. This source that you linked [2] does not say the village is Ukrainian-held, it only says the village will be de-mined, doesn't even say by whom. As for the map, Newsweek (the source I linked you) trumps that map in both verifiability and reliability. Read WP: Verifiability. Per the source I linked you, you have a Ukrainian soldier just yesterday saying nobody controls the village and that both sides are holding positions on hills outside it. In the last 24 hours there have been no reliable sources confirming the situation has changed. If it does we will act/edit accordingly. PS Social media is not regarded as the most reliable of sources by Wikipedia. EkoGraf (talk) 13:43, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
