Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. If you add Anti Semitic content to WP again, as you did at Talk Jair Bolsonaro you will be blocked with extreme prejudice. Simon Adler (talk) 04:47, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

October 2018[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you purposefully and blatantly harass a fellow Wikipedian, as you did at User talk:Simon Adler. BilCat (talk) 06:24, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Request reason:

As you can see on my contributions page, the only thing I've persistently done is making good and useful edits, mostly about linguistic topics. Then I made a comment that was somewhat critical of Jewish influence on wikipedia. This is my opinion and I stated it in a non-offensive way. For this I got an immediate and harsh block warning from a person who turned out to be a Jew himself (thus not very impartial, methinks). I wrote him a personal message, in which I neither insulted him nor made any more criticism of any Jews. Nevertheless, the message was deleted by another user. I reverted this deletion once because I thought it should be deleted, if by anybody, by the person I wrote it to. The third user then deleted it again. I purposely abstained from getting into an edit war, but only told this third user that I found their behaviour "childish". And that's it, I got blocked for a week. Surely, I don't care much, but you will agree that this is ridiculous. Or won't you... Best regards. 92.78.94.229 (talk) 07:14, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Just cut it out, your antisemitism isn't wanted here. Fut.Perf. 07:22, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Since I specifically wrote this request to contest the allegation of my having posted anything "antisemtic", the mere (and curt) repetition of this allegation by the reviewer casts doubt on the fairness of the review. Where did I? To be sure, my point is not to deny that I am an antisemite (which should not be relevant to the matter), but vehemently to deny that I have ever consciously violated the rules of wikipedia (which should be relevant).

Decline reason:

If you can't be civil to other users and keep from harassing them, you have no business editing Wikipedia, regardless of the reason for your incivility. Request declined. 331dot (talk) 08:15, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I will not send a fourth request, so this will be my last either way. It's just that the first review claimed unsourced "antisemitism", while the second now says "nevermind that, but you're uncivil". I've not been uncivil. I have never insulted anybody. I have never posted more than one comment on any person's site (well, one with a P.S.). And when a private comment of mine was deleted by another (!) user, I asked that user in a friendly way to let the comment stand (diff). His answer was to delete it again with the cheerful comment: "oops, that's gone now too" (diff). Nevertheless, I purposely refrained from having an edit war and only told this user that his behaviour was "childish", which maybe wasn't the best thing to do, but was a justified claim given his comment.

Decline reason:

I've seen your post at Talk:Jair Bolsonaro, you know. It's been removed from the public archives as offensive so there's not much point in linking to it. But you only made an edit to that page. Are you trying to pretend you don't know what people are referring to? Your antisemitism actually isn't wanted here. Talkpage access revoked. Bishonen | talk 11:29, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
