December 2015[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Shabbatai HaKohen, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 22:42, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

hi my name is atara, i saw you changed/deleted my edit of the "shach", Shabtai HaKohen page just now - the source is a little known book called otzar ma'asit , or something, its in hebrew , Shabtai HaKohen had a daughter named esther, with the wife who died (her name is miriam ) who became royalty. that change, is the whole story i got in english off some blog - i tend to believe this story because i'm a descendant of rabbi moshe isserlis and any connection is true. if you can do me a favor - rewrite it so it is appropriate for wikipedia research this is the blog link : http://dreamingofmoshiach.blogspot.co.il/2006/11/esther-lost-daughter-of-shach.html,
another version : https://www.ou.org/life/history/daughter_of_shach1/
i'm very interested in finding out if this story is historically accurate, if there is indeed a true factual basis to this story , and which king of poland and princess maria this is connected to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.86.111.107 (talk) 23:09, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have a lot of other project going on, so I will let you do this. Wikipedia needs to be wp:verifiable this is the only way that somebody can check the accuracy of articles. To do so, please wp:cite wp:reliable sources (RS). Blogs are often not considered RS as most anybody can say anything in a blog, facebook, etc. See wp:NOTRS. There are wp:templates that can help you with citations. For instance see the content of: {{cite book}}, {{cite journal}}, and {{cite web}}. If the link is in Hebrew, add {{He icon}} which generates (in Hebrew) and informs the reader about the language.
You can use a shortcut on Wikipedia's editor. At the top of the edit box, you will see B I... Advanced Special characters Help Cite. If you click on Cite, an additional bar with a box Templates will appear. Click on this and then the type of citation you wish to do. Fill out as much info as you can supply. This info helps fix likely future dead links. Please get an wp:account. This can help much with communication in case your IP changes or you use a different computer. You can get further help from the wp:teahouse or wp:help desk. Also, Wikipedia:WikiProject Judaism, specifically the discussion board might be helpful. Please peruse the welcome section above. Best of luck with your project. Hope it turns out to be true! Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 23:38, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

hi atara again , i did it again - different source - would you mind looking it over and changing what needs to be changed (not the hebrew -let a jewish person do that...) make the story more user friendly - but stay true to the original?
