Restless Heart has indeed disbanded permanently. Please take note that their website is down permanently. The band disbanded after John Dittrich retired in 2021. Larry Stewart is performing now with The Frontmen of Country. I referenced the Frontmen's website. I referenced the fact that the band's website closed down for good in 2021. This is factual. I do not understand why my contributions keep being pulled down. Restless Heart no longer maintains a Facebook presence. I am a huge fan of country music and I have followed Restless Heart since their inception in the mid-1980's. I do not know what else I can do to prove that the group has permanently disbanded. I find it troublesome that my contributions are being removed as if I have no idea what I am talking about. The website is offline for good. This is provable. I am asking that you as moderator review my information and look online for yourself before pulling down my information. I should have screen-shot the Restless Heart website last year when they acknowledged that the band would no longer be together and that the Store would be going offline permanently. I do not have a screen-shot to prove what I am saying. You can try to load "restlessheartband.com" which was their official website and you will see that the site is gone. You could contact Larry Stewart's website, Dave Innis's website, or the Frontmen Of Country website to verify that the band is no longer today. These members have moved onto other projects. John Dittrich retired. That is provable via his Facebook posts. I bought a pair of his autographed drumsticks last year when he sold his drums and sticks to fans because he retired. The band is no longer touring or recording or performing together. You will not find them on BandsInTown.com or any other ticketing website. The band has retired as a unit. I do not know how much more I can show you to prove this. Wikipedia has outdated information on this page and I am trying to bring it up to date. Fans already know that the band is no longer together. Facebook, fan-submitted sites like Songkick, and their website being down are not reliable sources, nor is word of mouth from individual members. Please read WP:RS to see what constitutes a reliable source. The podcast might be better, but as far as I can tell, Dittrich does not officially say the band retired at any point in the podcast. I am going to stop attempting to be a country music fan and fan of Restless Heart trying to update this page factually. I am tired of being argued with by someone who does not know the Band in question. RH is disbanded due to Larry Stewart moving on to the Frontmen Of Country group and John Dittrich retiring from the road. Dave Innis is producing and recording his own music solo now. The band's website is gone. They had notice in early 2021 that they were retiring from the road and that the online store would be going offline. I did not store a copy of that page. Prior to that, they did not update their tour schedule for several years. If you can prove that the band is still touring and performing, that would be great since you feel that I do not have enough proof of their retirement. Dave Innis states in an interview on his page that the band has retired and that they are not considering anything further at this time. He jokingly said that maybe they will have a reunion tour. I doubt that will happen because they took their website down. They discontinued posting at their Facebook page after announcing the band's retirement in early 2021. I trust that Wikipedia has up to date factual information too but this page is not accurate. I have been a fan of the band for 35 years. Personal knowledge even without absolute proof should account for something. I would think that if you had left my editing intact and you heard from someone else that I was all wrong, then I could see the removal of my edits. I am frankly rather irritated that I have to fight to see that factual information is online. The fact is simple -- the band retired. Larry is part of a new group and you can verify that if you looked at their website. You could certainly have written the webmaster and inquired if Restless Heart was disbanded to back up my information. You could also take a fan at his word unless otherwise proven incorrect. The absence of the website should be a good clue for proof. The problem is that the member did not do a farewell tour or concert to celebrate 38-39 years since their founding in 1983-1984. Their last concert was an online access event during the pandemic. They announced their disbanding on their non-defunct website. They did not farewells or anything other than announcing that the store would be closing and the website would be taken down. Admittedly, I am surprised that you could not at least take me at my word and personal knowledge (even though the primary source of the information is DOWN and permanently unavailable now). I cannot prove anything to you beyond what I have already shared. A "fan" website as you referenced should back up the fact that the band is retired. There was a lot of talk on there because of the band's rather quiet disbanding. The decision is yours, but I should at least be given the benefit of the doubt. Honestly, you cannot show proof that the band is touring or otherwise performing (see BandsInTown, eTix, Ticketmaster for proof of no concerts listed anywhere). If you cannot allow my edits based on the proof that I CAN provide, then forget it, but kindly take note that you are basically calling me a liar and demanding that I prove something that their OFFLINE website could have easily proven to be true. It is disappointing that I would have to put up this much of a fight to ensure that accurate information is on Wikipedia. I was challenged recently that Chris Darrow, founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band had passed away. I was told by a watcher on Wikipedia that my information was inclusive even though the obituary was published and the link provided. Your decision about my edits, but the site is NOT factual. You cannot prove that the Band is still in existence. All you have done is critique my editing and sources without providing your proof that the Band is still together. I am disappointed that this much difficult exists to get a page updated here. Someone argued with me a few years back on this page that my edit stating that Larry Stewart was also a keyboard player was inaccurate. Austin City Limits, 1985/1986, he clearly provided second keyboards for at least one song and was credited in the closing. Someone felt that was not accurate and deleted that edit. Honesty, what is your proof that I am not accurate? A fan who would love to see the Band perform again and disappointed to find out that they have disbanded and someone to provide as much detail as possible -- and that is not enough. I'm sorry, but this is really not appropriate to have to fight to get accurate information posted. Do you have positive proof that the Band is still together? No website. No online store. No tickets for sale anywhere. No recordings. Band members moving on to verifiable other projects. Dave and John have both publicly thanked their fans. John sold off all of his drums due to retiring. Larry is clearly playing with The Frontmen of Country and that could be verified if you do not believe me and you could pose the question the Wikipedia page asking for others to answer the question -- is the Band together or not? Perhaps someone else may have stored their website or have better proof. Think about how irritating it can be if everything you want to share in honor of a great band is shot down by someone who does not know the band. The page on Wiki is NOT accurate and I am done arguing with you about what I have provided. Why do you not prove me wrong instead of demanding more proof that I cannot give. The website is down permanently and that was their means of announcing their disbanding. I cannot provide proof of a website that is gone. I trust that you understand my frustration. Why do you not search the Internet and prove that the Band is still together? It is not worth arguing with you -- I do not get paid for my contributions. I am a country music fan and I hate the way I have to prove beyond the shadow of doubt that Restless Heart is no longer together. Thank you for your time and I trust you understand my irritation by your questioning my ability to provide information. I have provided proof but you claim it is no good.
