Disambiguation link notification for October 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jean Marie Le Bris, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page French. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thank you for mentioning this. I didn't realize I was pointing toward an homonymic page that... was not the one intended! Thanks for fixing the link. ALfd495 (talk) 23:05, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Electrification improvements[edit]

Hi there. Thanks for your addition of an EoE section to Electrification. I thought it was an excellently-worded summary of very important aspects that the article should cover. Unfortunately, I see it was reverted by another person because of sourcing concerns. When I can (I'm really busy for the next couple of days), I'd like to work with you on finding stronger sourcing and get consensus for including the content. Please don't be discouraged. Did you understand what Fountains of Bryn Mawr‎ was saying about needing secondary sources? Best wishes, Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 05:14, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there: NREL is a pretty strong primary source. They're experts on the matter. I could add mentions to USDOE (e.g., https://www.energy.gov/sites/default/files/2022-10/ICF%20-%20DOE%20GRIP%20Program%20Webinar%20Presentation_0.pdf) or individual research papers (e.g., https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40518-021-00176-6)... The research paper you mentioned, Resilience in an Age of Increasing Electrification, would be a great source! It supports the claim that there is a trend towards electrification, although I see it doesn't go as far as to say "Electrify everything". "Electrify everything" is a useful mantra in many ways but of course it's an oversimplification; the scholarly literature I've read tends to say more measured things like "widespread electrification". Wikipedia wants to echo the scholarly literature rather than the mantras, so the language in our articles should be nuanced.
Wikipedia is strange in that it actually prefers secondary sources such as literature reviews over primary sources. (The official explanation is here and for science topics we often refer to this essay.)
In the sustainable energy topic area, my go-to sources are usually IPCC reports, reports from other UN and international bodies, reports by major scientific organizations such as National Academies, IEA reports, university-level textbooks, books published by academic publishers, and review articles in scholarly journals.
Last week I managed to find some other good sources that you might find useful for expanding the Electrification article:
Looking forward to seeing what you add next. Cheers, Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 05:02, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Brezhoweb moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Brezhoweb, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 13:30, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
