Edit Summary Request

[edit]

I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 17:09, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Concerns

[edit]
  1. Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Kukini 17:09, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Kukini 17:13, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Kukini 17:20, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you.Kukini 17:20, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  5. This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Kukini 17:23, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  6. You continue to revert without explanation. All articles in wikipedia are the common domain of us all. Please do not revert ASET to its former NPOV state, or this will be seen as vandalism. Kukini 15:52, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Blocked
You have been blocked for vandalism for a period of time. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock}} on this page, along with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

Please do not erase warnings on this page. Doing so is also considered vandalism. Kukini 05:36, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Concerns (Again)

[edit]
  1. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Kukini 21:54, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Your ongoing editing without edit summaries makes many of the changes you make look suspect. Please consider working within the norms of the wikipedia community. Kukini 15:47, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Asetlogo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Asetlogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Asetlogo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Asetlogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:01, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Asetlogo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Asetlogo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kkmurray 23:18, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:ASETlogo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ASETlogo.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We requires this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:ASETlogo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 18:59, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ASETlogo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ASETlogo.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:09, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

November 2008

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Tom Huddlestone, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. That position is just being stupid, this is normal football not American. Govvy (talk) 13:37, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Tom Huddlestone, you will be blocked from editing. This is normal football not American football. Govvy (talk) 18:17, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
