Please help me with... Hi there, I have tried to publish an article about my boss, and I have tried to amend it as much as possible from all the other biographies of him. Unfortunately, the facts are the same so it reads a lot like his other publicly available profiles! How do you recommend I edit this further? We are the sole owners of all content on the websites referenced as possible copyrighted content. Any help really appreciated. I can't de-fluff it any more, I don't think! Aamling (talk) 19:40, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
I can't de-fluff it any more, I don't think!
And that's why we tell people to not write about themselves, whomever they work for, whomever they're competing with in any arena of life or business, or their loved ones. It profoundly limits the quality of everyones writing. The more you protest that you're an exception, the less honest you're being with yourself.
- If you might get fired if you don't comply with your bosses request, it might be advisable to have him look at your talk page. There are multiple complaints, and it doesn't reflect well on Sandler for him to persist in such a request. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 20:15, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Andy Sandler
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Andy Sandler, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. PRAXIDICAE🌈 20:07, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
