Speedy deletion nomination of Dayak Mualang

[edit]

Hello AbAc9,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dayak Mualang for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Nechlison (talk) 22:39, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Iban language

[edit]

Hi AbAc9! I have removed much of your earlier addition to Iban language, because most of the sample clauses were in fact in Malay/Indonesian, and the only Iban sample clause was wrongly glossed (no subject in the Iban clause, but glossed with "I" as subject. If you have intended to fix it later, then please use your sandbox for test and experimental edits. Slowly building up content in articles is ok, but test edits in articles for later amendments should be avoided. If you have any questions about it, just answer here and ping me using the template {{ping|Austronesier}}. Thank you and Happy editing! –Austronesier (talk) 08:29, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Add: all content in Wikipedia needs a WP:reliable source. Your additions in 2015 were unsourced, and so were the latest ones. Please add supporting citations from the relevant literature (e.g. Prof Asmah's grammar), or trim the information if you can't find it. L1-speaker knowledge maybe ok to a very limited extent for adding examples, but is not sufficient for adding basic statements about the grammar. This counts as WP:original research. –Austronesier (talk) 08:59, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
