Your submission at Articles for creation: Syrian Space Agency has been accepted

[edit]
Syrian Space Agency, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. It is commonplace for new articles to start out as stubs and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

Special rules for biographies

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.  Bishonen | tålk 15:15, 7 December 2020 (UTC).[reply]

Hi, AbdulShariYahar. Wikipedia's articles go by reliable secondary sources — not, in the case of Suidlanders in Lauren Southern, by the organisation's own self-description, or Lauren Southern's description. Please check out the sources before making changes in the text. Bishonen | tålk 15:15, 7 December 2020 (UTC).[reply]

Hello, I have to respectfully disagree, words like "racist" are loaded language, and should be applied with great caution. In fact the word "racist" is defined in grammar as an adjective (a descriptive word) and descriptions are by their nature subjective. Something with a more neutral connotation should be used.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Bidenism. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. The article was deleted via a deletion discussion. Neutrality deleted it again, with that rationale, and then you posted it again. Please don't do that. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 03:28, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

February 2021

[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Opal Tometi. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Binksternet (talk) 19:31, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Binksternet:What source(s) specifically do you feel like was/were not credible? Are you doubting that Opal Tometi actually met with Maduro? Do you find Opal's own personal tweets to be less than credible? Are you doubting the findings cited by the UN/human rights watch, about the abuses happening in Venezuela at the time of her visit? Please enlighten me as to what policies were violated? Thanks! AbdulShariYahar (talk) 19:54, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You combined sources A + B to create the new idea C. That is a violation of WP:SYNTH. The most obvious indicator of violation of the SYNTH policy is when the source does not mention the topic of the article. As an example, you added the source https://apnews.com/article/miami-venezuela-caracas-united-nations-crime-6579f84088a23e157c43f6d2517260d9, which says nothing at all about Opal Tometi. That means you are assembling your own analysis of the situation. Binksternet (talk) 20:14, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's hard for me to picture exactly what you propose, but you are welcome to try again, this time using reliable WP:SECONDARY sources, every one of which contains a mention of Opal Tometi. Binksternet (talk) 20:57, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

POV pushing

[edit]

Hi, I've been noticing some of your edits about the place and there seems to be an issue with WP:RELIABILITY of sources and POV pushing (WP:PUSH). Please read this guideline and the essay. You need to read reliable secondary sources and reflect those sources, not push your own views with original research (WP:OR) and WP:SYNTH. At the rate you are going if you don't correct this behavior you will eventually be indef blocked. I hope that helps, all the best. Bacondrum 23:00, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in Myanmar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Thanks for your contributions to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in Myanmar. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

License tagging for File:KMBA.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:KMBA.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:30, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Islamic State – Myanmar Province, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
