Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style guideline about Islamic honorifics that should be followed to maintain a neutral point of view and consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style by adding honorifics disturbs uniformity among articles and should only be done with a special reason. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 21:39, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

August 2019[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Hadith. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 22:01, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding Islamic Honorifics unless you have a compelling reason to do so. If you do, please start a discussion on the article talk page so you can gain consensus from the community. Otherwise, your edits will be seen as disruptive and be reverted. See WP:TP for guidance on using talk pages. S0091 (talk) 22:04, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Hadith, you may be blocked from editing. Gatemansgc (TɅ̊LK) 22:19, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. S0091 (talk) 22:20, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Reconsidered the previous block as I noticed you may not be aware of the Manual of Style. Please see MOS:PBUH where we do not use, nor accept the Muhammad honorific. Reblocked for a short time for you to learn how WIkipedia works and what is not allowed. If you have any questions, please ask at the Tea House. -- Alexf(talk) 22:57, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

September 2020[edit]

Information icon Please do not add honorifics to articles, as you did in Sufism. There is a guideline on Islamic honorifics, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Esowteric + Talk + Breadcrumbs 10:43, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Images and honorifics[edit]

Hi - you have been removing images, and adding (PBUH) after the name of the prophet Mohammed. I appreciate that is normal in some situations, or for certain people, but on the English Wikipedia we adhere to our manual of style, which advises not to use honorifics, and we don't censor images. For full details, please refer to MOS:ISLAM. Thanks GirthSummit (blether) 16:21, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ah - I've just realised that you've already been warned, and blocked, for this type of thing before. I also note that this it the only type of contribution that you have ever made. I'm therefore going to block this account from editing, since it is only being used to introduce breaches of our MOS. If you would like to contribute to the project in a constructive manner, you can appeal this block; I have no objection to any administrator unblocking your account provided you make a commitment not to add any more Islamic honorifics into articles, or to remove images. Best GirthSummit (blether) 16:25, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
