Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Lahore. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. regentspark (comment) 14:33, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're adding links to all these articles in good faith. But please don't. None of them are appropriate for Wikipedia. --regentspark (comment) 14:34, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I also note that you've been adding links to instagram and other social networking sites. Please note that, generally, you should only link to one official site in a biographical article. You should read WP:ELMIN and WP:LINKSTOAVOID. Best wishes. --regentspark (comment) 15:22, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon One of your recent additions has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. -- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:07, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have spend a great deal of time cleaning up your edits this morning. Please do not continue to add social networking sites to biography articles unless the account is confirmed, the individual has no other web presence, and the link is pertinent (see WP:Twitter-EL). In addition, you are uploading images you find on other websites to Commons and claiming them as your own work before adding them to various articles here. That absolutely cannot continue. Please see the note directly above this one regarding Wikipedia's copyright policies. Finally, you are adding sources that do not meet our reliable sourcing criteria to articles. Please review the information provided here prior to editing further in order to avoid further reverts of your work. Thank you, -- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:55, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Half-assed content

[edit]

If you're going to add content like this about criticism levied against a subject, you can't do it half-assed. You need to be able to write a coherent narrative that explains all the key details of an event. The Five Ws. Who, what, when, where, why, how? Who did what, when did it happen, where did it happen, who was the aggrieved party, what was the network's response to the criticism, what was the resolution, what was the "fake news", what was the reaction to it, what did the network do to apologise or clarify the information.

Presenting one side against a subject doesn't conform to our policy on neutral point of view.

Additionally, re: this edit, why did you add an Instagram link if there was already an official website present? Haven't you read WP:ELNO yet? This has been brought to your attention several times on your talk page. One verified, official link only. Period. If you do it again, you will have your editing privileges interrupted. Hello, I'm Path slopu. An edit you recently made to Aiman Khan seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. PATH SLOPU 10:05, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:57, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
