The warning on your talk page is over 1 and a half years old. Is there another problem I should be aware of? Ale_Jrbtalk 21:35, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Calling all active WP:NOVELS members

WikiProject Novels Roll Call

WikiProject Novels is currently holding a roll call, which we hope to have annually. Your username is listed on the members list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active within the project. If you still consider yourself an active WP:Novels editor, please add your name back to the Active Members list. Also feel free to join any of our task forces and take a look at the project's Job Centre to get involved!

Next month we will begin the coordinator election selection process. We hope to have more involvement and input this time around! More news will be forthcoming. Thanks, everyone! María (habla conmigo) 14:12, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Fortunately, vandalism isn't allowed on Wikipedia. If you vandalise pages, expect it to be reverted and to get a warning (and eventually a block), usually within a few seconds of you doing it. There's really no point. Ale_Jrbtalk 18:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

4im warnings

This is not an appropriate use of the 4im template. This user had two total edits at the time - the first was an edit creating a page where he claimed himself to be the greatest soccer player who ever lived. He was templated for creating a hoax and a speedy deletion template was applied saying no such player ever existed. He removed everything on the page and rewrote it about himself. Yes, he removed the speedy deletion template, but was not cautioned against it (and new users are bound to miss steps and instructions in the various things they come across). This was hardly vandalism, considering he replaced the hoaxy information he put in with factual information about himself. Non-notability does not equal vandalism. It especially does not equal vandalism to the point of giving a person a 4im warning. The original edits were restored to the hoaxy edits (which he had removed). He re-removed the hoaxy edits he had initially created and put the information back in about himself. To give him an only warning for trying to abide by the messages he was receiving on the page and then to report him to AIV for it after he had only made 3 total edits is both unfair and pretty bitey. Anyway, I just wanted to drop you a note to ask that in the future, you please be more careful with your templating and be a little bit more careful to not bite the newbies. Thanks! --SmashvilleBONK! 17:22, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey there. Thanks for your concern, but I would ask you to AGF and look into it a little more carefully before making accusations. WP:HUGGLE is an automated vandalism-fighting tool that chooses the template to use automatically based on the templates already on that user's talk page, and edit summaries it sees in the IRC feed. I would presume that, as the hoax template is relatively uncommon, HUGGLE mistook it for another warning and applied a level 4 warning on my first revert. Also keep in mind that the template that was used was in-fact not a 4-im - it was just a 4. I then reverted again (I think, I can't see as the page has been deleted) and huggle, seeing a level 4 warning, automatically reported to AIV.
huggle is a very widely used tool, and over hundreds of reversions, it will occasionally make mistakes. I usually correct these to the best of my ability, but as the edits in question were vandalism, albeit by a new user (which, of course, makes it even more suspect, but that's not the point), I probably didn't see them, and did not alter it.
Thanks again for your thoughts, and I hope I have cleared up the situation a bit. Ale_Jrbtalk 17:35, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
You have and we can consider this a closed matter. However, please be more careful to make sure that what you tag as vandalism is in fact vandalism. --SmashvilleBONK! 17:53, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
One always aims to be as careful as possible - and I shall endeavour to remain as such in the future. Cheers, Ale_Jrbtalk 17:57, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Regarding this page, what exactly defines "inappropriate" content? I provided sources and external links.

It doesn't matter how many members it has - a company or website is only suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia if it has been the subject of signoficant coverage in secondary sources (like newspapers - the site itself, or the parent company press releases and so on do not count). If you have any more questions, let me know. If it does meet these requirements (see WP:ORG for more details), put some sources on the article and let me know so I can remove the tag. Thanks, Ale_Jrbtalk 21:26, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Bloc.net

That is understood. Give me some time to collect more. I'm confident that this is a wiki article worthy. See you later, I need some hours of sleep first :) (Uflidd (talk) 21:43, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

You might consider joining WikiProject Friesland for we allways need more participants. -The Bold Guy- (talk) 17:56, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, but I have no interest in (and know nothing about!) 'Friesland', so I'm not sure my contribution would be that much help in this case. Thanks anyway, though! ;) Ale_Jrbtalk 17:57, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

We can always use someone to help us to cope with vandalism on our articles or to create templates, upload images. No real knowledge is required. Just more members is what we need and a more internation participant role would be great. We could really need you. -The Bold Guy- (talk) 17:59, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

???

wot are you talking about "unconstructive"???? i was just citing that they have a new flavor out called mouthwatering berry??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.123.143.207 (talk) 22:08, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

I will do so, Thank you for informing me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.123.143.207 (talk)

Needed a Reference

All I really should have done was provide a reference for the comment made. If the information is not stated on the internet, then how is one to "source" infromation to a wiki? John Pienaar has admitted to being a Palace fan on 5 live for the last few years, but I cannot link it, therefore my information is deemed "unconstructive"?? It is a known fact, that you yourself may not know and i don't have any electronic links to prove. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.236.11 (talk) 21:05, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

How can it be unconstructive now when it's been on there for weeks. ASS! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.12.68.76 (talk) 15:55, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
