Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Bpf.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Bpf.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:55, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:2006 IBF World.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:2006 IBF World.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:12, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

TARA2 (Leg 8 - Fast Forward)

I watched The Amazing Race Asia 2 last night, after the roadblock, there was a last clue contains one Fast Forward clue and regular clue. The Fast Forward was never mentioned to Allan Wu, it was unused and unaired during that leg. -- 08:29, January 18, 2008 (UTC)

Please do not change my settings, and it is suspicious, because FF usually skip Detour also, it is place after Roadblock, a bunch of question place in my mind. --Aleenf1 08:38, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi Aleen. I am not an admin, but what you have here is a dispute between the two of you, and it's a pity there is nobody else around who knows about this article. If you can find alternative links to the ones that have gone dead, you can add them if they are reliable sources, but I don't see any need for admin intervention yet. You might want to ask someone for a third opinion here, but I see a pattern of reverts between you and Carl which is not going to help the article progress. You could ask for the page to be protected here until you get this sorted out, especially as outlined above. Hope that helps. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 08:42, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Super Series

I'm sorry, but I can't cover all the Super Series either. I will try to cover as much as I can, but perhaps the best option is creating shorter articles, just with semifinals and finals, or something similar, and then the external link to tournamentsoftware for further information. On your grammar.

Thanks for the heads up. I've seen that your English is very bad indeed. No offense, but that's the truth. Nothing personal. Also, I can see that even if Malaysia, where you are from, is somewhat an English-speaking country, I can see from your grammar that you either don't have a good grasp of English or you don't use the language very often in your daily life. I tell you what. For now, the best thing is to police each of the pages you have on your watchlist and watch out for vandals, which you usually do. You can also make minor edits or correct spellings.

Also, as best as you can, don't make edits that will require you to type large quantities of text. If you have to, you can make a draft and ask some help from users who have a good command of English. I suggest that aside from me, you can also get help from those who have the same interest in The Amazing Race, such as Madchester (talk · contribs), Gogo Dodo (talk · contribs), and Masem (talk · contribs). Furthermore, I also suggest that while you're offline, you can brush up on your English or get help. That way, you can improve your English more.

Don't worry, I'm have cleaned up the Amazing Race Asia article. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 13:16, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:Button

A tag has been placed on Template:Button requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thomas Cup Article

Thanks for the compliment. I could never even attempt to write an article in anything but English. I'm trying to edit the TC article one section at a time but I will probably need some help with the TC format changes made in the eighties and since. Badmintonhist (talk) 20:07, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello Aleenf1. I am trying to edit the section on format'. I'm wondering if you or someone else could check the records on the qualification venues that were used starting in 1984. According to my old World Badminton magazine there were 4 qualifying venues in 1984, not just two. They were in Belgium (3 qualifying teams), Canada (one qualifying team), Hong Kong (one qualifying team), and India (one qualifying team). China, the defending champion, and Malaysia, the host country, were exempt. I think similar venues were also used in 1986. This would mean that the chart in that section of the article should be modified. Badmintonhist (talk) 15:56, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Please take time to check that the reversion of vandalism is to the "last good version". At Underwater basket weaving, the edit by User:Danteisback was followed by IP vandal edits - Danteisback is also a vandal, though, and reverting to the Danteisback version makes it look valid. Warning vandals

Hello Aleenf1.
I noticed that you revert a lot of vandalism. Thank you for helping keep Wikipedia the best encyclopedia in the world!
However, I have noticed that you do not always leave warnings on the vandals talk pages. You should always leave an appropriate warning after reverting vandalism. (The full list of talk page warnings may be found here, along with some suggestions and guidelines for using them.)
Be sure to leave the correct level of warning, and if the vandal has been warned four times in the last month, (Check the vandal's talk page history. Some vandals remove warnings from their talk pages.) report the vandal by going to this page and following the instructions.
Thank you again, and may the vandals fail... J.delanoygabsadds 17:19, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Those who know "Field Hockey" - that is not how it is called when they talk about this game. Officials, players, and fans all refer it by Hockey. Official name of federation is also International Hockey Federation and there is no Field word in it. Ice Hockey is governed by International Ice Hockey fed. But I guess there is much confusion in the usage of word Hockey, so I can see your point in reverting back to the old title. That is ok. - Vikasy —Preceding comment was added at 11:54, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:2002worldcuplogo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

The following images also have this problem:

Otherwise just list straight if number are line up start from 1 until the end."

No problem and thanks for all of your help. The title is fine. It may take awhile for me to put this together. 1. Go ahead and clean up where necessary. I used the second option from your tools page - however, the numbering system created two columns 1-9, rather than a second column, 10-18. So, you might need to tweak that.
  2. I created a link to this page here - however if you want to put it somewhere else, go ahead.
Have fun and thanks for the help, -Classicfilms (talk) 06:58, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Fantastic job! I was really perplexed as to how to resolve the numbering - I looked at how you did it and was quite impressed. Thanks for the clean up on both of the pages, it all looks great!-Classicfilms (talk) 13:29, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
