Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Alexbu2014, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Capital One, seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, please see:

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask a question on your talk page. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Information icon Hello, I'm Apparition11. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Gorumara National Park have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Miami. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 11:54, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at PayPal ‎. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Kuru (talk) 12:03, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Toothpaste, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Per WP:NOTSEEALSO, "see also" sections of articles should only contain closely relevant links which do not already appear in the article. Lord Belbury (talk) 11:58, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

December 2020

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, as you did at Moringa, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. This is nonsense and quackery, and is promotion of your business website. You are being reported to admin for blocking. Zefr (talk) 14:50, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The next block for spamming will be indefinite

[edit]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:58, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
