Your question. Alexhangartner (talk) 17:35, 29 March 2012 (UTC) Hi Kleinzach, My first attempt to follow the wholly confusing and incomplete instructions to give you, the editor of a Wiki-Webpage, feedback as a "comment", before I make changes I feel I should not.[reply]

1. On instructions below: "If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page". Where is "your talk page", and how do I talk to you in it? An active link straight to it would be best.

"...or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there". On "My Talk page", do I have to go into "Edit" function, and if so, what do I do with all the coding already in the the "Editing User talk: Alexhangartner" box?

2. My comment on webpage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_Protestant_Reformation concerning this entry:

"314 Catholic Council of Arles,[23] called by Constantine against Donatist schism to confirm the Council of Rome in 313": The Council of Rome took place (Wiki-link) in year 382, not 313, as shown, ie. long after the diary entry 314. At this point, what does the Council of Rome in 382 have to do with the First Council of Arles in 314?

Your reply is appreciated. Regards Alex Alexhangartner (talk) 17:35, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. First of all, I have moved your edit to a separate section to make it easier to read. Then, your questions:
  1. This page is your talk page. You can identify it because of the "User talk:"-prefix in front of your username. Your talk page is the place where people will leave you messages. See Help:Using talk pages for further details. The "coding" you refer to is the code used to create the welcome box above. Since this question is now in a separate section, you can use the [edit] link on the section to edit this section without having to see all that coding :-)
  2. As for the second question, I'm unsure as to what you mean with that. The Council of Arles and the Council of Rome are two different councils of which one happened in 314 and the other in 382. Please clarify what your question is in this case.

Hi. When you recently edited Anne Spencer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Congolese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:56, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
