I understand the reason for which I'm blocked but I truly believe that a warning would have been enough in this regard instead of indefinitely blocking my account, I have been a supporter of Wikipedia ever since I came in touch with the internet and have also contributed in financial regards. I understand my actions were inappropriate this time, but I would definitely seek one more chance to rectify my mistake. Further, if big corporations like Microsoft, Apple, etc. can have their own Wikipedia page, then why can't I write one for my organization while ensuring that the article is truly informative and does not possess any promotional entities. I think you have some fundamental misunderstandings about Wikipedia. Microsoft and Apple do not "have pages" here that are their property or under their control. Wikipedia has articles about Microsoft and Apple. Articles are typically written by independent editors without any involvement from the subject. Wikipedia is not for merely providing information, that is considered promotional here, you don't have to be soliciting customers or selling something. Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company, not based on any materials put out by the company such as press releases, interviews, the company website, announcements, etc., showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia is not interested in what a company says about itself, only what others completely unconnected with the company choose on their own to say about it. It is usually very difficult for a company representative to set aside everything they know about their company and only summarize what others say about it. I created the other account as I believed it would have been meaningful to contribute using the same user id i.e., Vantage Circle. All I ever wanted to was to make a meaningful contribution by staying totally independent. I realized that there were a few terms that gave promotional signals but now that I have realized I'm obliged to follow all your guidelines while making the contribution. Rest I would please ask our admins to kindly unblock my account from editing considering it to be a mistake made for the first time. I decided to write about it since I know it and what they're doing, their vision, and mission for encouraging better work culture. Can't I write without sounding promotional in any aspect? If the final decision is that I cannot write about the organization then I'll stop pursuing it but since the account "Angshuman Dev Talukdar" is opened with my personal email id, I would just request the admins to uplift the ban on my personal Wikipedia account so that in future I can add meaningful pieces for other things that matter.Angshuman Dev Talukdar (talk) 10:38, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
