Historical federal census population counts
[edit]Hello, I'm Hwy43. I noticed that you made changes to numerous articles – Coalhurst, Coaldale, Barons, Picture Butte, Granum, Nobleford, and Drumheller – involving addition of tables of historical federal census population counts.
These tables have since been removed per WP:CANPOP, which states "all population figures and demographics must be referenced."
You are welcome to re-add if you reference the historical population counts.
To assist, I first suggest you use the Template:Historical populations instead of a raw wikitable.
Then, I suggest you use the Template:Cite web (and Template:Cite book if necessary).
To see these in action, go to Whitecourt#Demographics and click edit to reveal the templates in use.
If you need guidance on including population figures on Canadian articlesmistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hwy43 (talk) 18:18, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
