[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Adding galleries to articles
[edit]Hi Arabindu, I see you have added many images in the form of galleries in the articles Meher Spiritual Center and Samadhi of Meher Baba. Please make sure you understand this guideline in the use of galleries in articles: Wikipedia:Image use policy#Image galleries. In particular please consider this: "One rule of thumb to consider: if, due to its content, such a gallery would only lend itself to a title along the lines of "Gallery" or "Images of [insert article title]", as opposed to a more descriptive title, the gallery should either be revamped or moved to the Commons." The proper way to do this is to categorize all the relevant images first in Commons with the appropriate name, like I just did under [[Category:Meher Spiritual Center]] and then to add the template {{Commons category|Meher Spiritual Center}} at the bottom of the Wikipedia article (which I also just did). In this way, a special box appears which links to the gallery in Commons. This doesn't mean that a few (say 4-5) representative images cannot be also used locally, in the way you already did, but when a lot of images are added it usually results in complaints and their removal from the gallery. Please feel free to ask me questions and help. And by the way, thank you for your great contributions in Commons, fantastic images! Hoverfish Talk 22:09, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, I wanted to also give my thanks for this wonderful work on Commons. I have also added a category there for Samadhi of Meher Baba. Dazedbythebell (talk) 22:31, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
