Speedy deletion nomination of Webmasters Europe
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Webmasters Europe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Webmasters europe, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Webmasters europe, to Wikipedia, as doing so is not in accordance with our policies. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Wikipedia:Your first article; you might also consider using the Article Wizard. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. I didn't see the previous version at Webmasters Europe but this looks to have the same issues. Cabayi (talk) 18:23, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Webmasters Europe, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Cabayi (talk) 18:24, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
- OK, I'll strike this warning as it seems you were unaware that German wikipedia and English wikipedia operate by their own rules. We don't aim to discourage people from contributing to Wikipedia anymore, but there is an assumption that you will read the guidance in the welcome message above, and that you will conform to the community's policies. Ignoring the deletion, and creating two more copies of the article does not show a willingness to collaborate. Cabayi (talk) 18:55, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
- I note your claim that "The page already exists in German for a long time". Since when has 23 hours been a long time?? Your over-reaction looks a bit misplaced. Cabayi (talk) 19:34, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
WE does not provide any courses or tests in English
[edit]I just saw the German page today so I assumed it was there for a long time, it seems a coincidence. I edited it. Anyway no one suggested deleting it, probably because they understand the native language and recognise it is not advertisement as the association does not provide any courses or tests in English. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Atheerhuwaish (talk • contribs) 20:02, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
Ummm... wikt:testes? I'm pretty sure candidates would provide their own.- But seriously - We don't care whether the courses are in English. We don't care whether the sources are in English. We DO care that the sources aren't taken from the business' own website. Cabayi (talk) 20:27, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 20:28, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
Different language Wikipedias
[edit]I did notice your note on the talk page of the deleted article. Each language Wikipedia has its own policies and practices and operates independently from the others, so it is entirely possible that an article that would be acceptable on the German Wikipedia would not be so on the English, or vice versa. While translation work is appreciated, it is your responsibility to ensure that the translated article complies with the rules of the project it is translated to. The English Wikipedia requires reliable and independent sourcing to demonstrate the notability of a subject. I do not know what the content rules on the German project are, nor could I delete the article there even if I wanted to since I'm not an admin there. But the fact that a subject has an article on one language's Wikipedia does not indicate its suitability for any others. Seraphimblade Talk to me 20:48, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
