Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved. Hello, Audiblefeast. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "The Misadventures of the Dunderheads".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:The Misadventures of the Dunderheads}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 10:34, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Montana Amazon Redux (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. Hello,
It's a bit complicated, but we don't want to break the rules. Here's our situation: Due to our dissatisfaction with the distributor's original cut, "Mis-Adventures..." was withdrawn from the market and reworked by the Director into her originally intended film, "Montana Amazon Redux." I would like to delete the "Misadventures..." Wiki page in order to avoid confusion with the new, about to be released, "Montana Amazon Redux." I recently made that request via this account, in support of the release of the new version of the film. I am currently "in charge" of attending to this "Misadventures" page. The director is handling the "Montana Amazon Redux" page. If this is against the rules, please accept my apologies. If there is a different or better way to handle this, I'd certainly adhere to it.

Hi. Unfortunately, you do not quite understand how Wikipedia works. No one is in charge of a page here. You filed a deletion request, but as was mentioned here, it did not succeed as the request was challenged by @Donaldd23:. You can file a different kind of deletion request, however the reasons you've proposed are unlikely to succeed as that is grounds for updating, not deleting. You should not edit this article directly and need to make the relevant declarations per WP:PAID please before you continue editing. You can log into this account, but the Montana one will remained blocked for several reasons.
I'm also cc'ing @ColinFine and Dudhhr: who answered your questions at the Teahouse so that they're aware of this discussion. Star Mississippi 17:34, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, As the producer of both of the films under discussion below, it's not clear to me how to effect a change, revision, deletion, or merger in the two pages, "Misadventures of the Dunderheads," and "Montana Amazon Redux." "Misadventures..." is an old title to a film that the director has taken great pains to remove from public view. "Montana Amazon Redux" is an extensively revised version of original film, which is now making it's way around film festivals. When you Google the title "Montana...," the only link to WikiPedia that comes up is to the "Misadventures..." page, which is outdated and incorrect. The page says that "Misadventures..." is "also know as Montana Amazon." "Misadventures..." was never "also known as Montana Amazon." The recut director's version was done in 2021-22 and is now called "Montana Amazon Redux." The page that now exists is worse than nothing, in that it contains no information about the film that people are now seeing, and about which they are likely to turn to Wikipedia for information.
I'm not sure what to make of the idea that I or anyone is being paid to attempt to edit these pages. Perhaps if some of the $1 million that was lost on this project were to be returned, maybe I would pay myself. Since either I or the director are the two most knowledgeable people on the subject of these two titles, it seems strange that neither of us should be allowed to contribute information, where ever sourced.
At any rate, I'd appreciate any help I can get to alleviating this confusion, since as it stands, the Wikipedia page that references these films is causing material harm to our efforts to help find an audience for "Montana Amazon Redux.
I don't see any way to cc other people, so I would appreciate it if you would cc any interested party.
Thanks
Bruce Stubblefield

As producer, you are considered to be a paid editor. That status is not contingent on anyone paying you a salary, dividends, etc. What the article needs is information from independent, reliable sources that indicates The Misadventures of the Dunderheads or the new version, Montana Amazon Redux meets WP:NFILM. If both are notable, we could treat those with what we call a hat note. Basically You may be looking for...", but it's unclear that they are.
To ping (or cc) someone here you can use @ as you would on other social channels, for example @ColinFine & @Dudhhr or if you're using source, {{ping|their name}} so I'd {{ping|Audiblefeast}} if I wanted you to get notified of an edit or comment.
I don't particularly edit in the area of films but will leave a note in the film project to see if anyone can provide insight. Star Mississippi 02:01, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have nominated Misadventures for deletion, see WP:Articles for deletion/The Misadventures of the Dunderheads. I have done this on the basis that I cannot find any evidence that it meets Wikipedia's criteria for notability.
It is possible that somebody will come forward with sources that establish notability - I doubt it, but I haven't looked assiduously. If they do so, and the film is found to meet the criteria for notability, then the article will be kept. Your commercial concerns are of no relevance to Wikipedia, which summarises information which has been reliably published, and makes no interpretation.
A separate article on Montana Amazon Redux is possible only if that project meets the criteria. ColinFine (talk) 10:17, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
