Note on List of currently erupting volcanoes[edit]

I have noticed that you have been adding volcanoes to List of currently erupting volcanoes that are not actually erupting at this time from what I can find out. Please only add volcanoes that are currently known to be erupting, one good source to check into this is the Smithsonian Insitution's Global Volcanism Program from their weekly volcanic activity report as well as eruption history of volcanoes in their database. However this is by no means the only source that could be utilized. Stormchaser89 (talk) 11:44, 10 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This site you referenced http://www.volcanodiscovery.com/erupting_volcanoes.html appears to be very inaccurate in various matters as I've looked for other confirmation if some of these volcanoes they list are actually erupting and nothing indicates this is such. One example is Mount Augustine in Alaska which is listed as warning or minor eruption on the site, however the Alaska Volcano Observatory which monitors Alaska's volcanoes says there isn't even any unrest occurring. The about information page for this site further brings into question its accuracy and reliability. I would recommend not suing this site as a source on which volcanoes are erupting. Mount Tongariro[edit]

I have reverted the edit you made to Mount Tongariro. It would need referencing, to a reliable source. Moriori (talk) 19:56, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
