Information icon Hello, I'm Sumanuil. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to List of International Cricket Council members have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Sumanuil. 21:39, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Template:Country data VND, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Johannesburg Super Kings requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

I will admit that I have a bias here: I am a cricket fan, as evidenced by my creation of about - I have lost track of them, maybe 100 - start with List of Australia women ODI cricketers and work from there. This, as the saying goes, ain't your first rodeo when it comes to cricket-related articles. As you can see from this 20 Jul 2022 Business Standard article, the now deleted Johannesburg Super Kings was only a proposal for a team in the South Africa T20 League (itself now located at Draft:South Africa T20 League). The assumption of good faith is mandatory throughout en.wp. Assuming good faith, the creation of an "WP:ARTICLESPACE" article about a proposed team in a proposed cricket competition may be an indication that you are not quite ready to write en.wp articles yet. Block from editing

[edit]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked temporarily from editing, for vandalism and other persistent disruptive editing. I originally intended to just warn you that continuing to create fictitious pages, as you have done several times, would be likely to lead to being blocked from editing, but then I saw the rest of your editing history, apart from creation of those pages, and all the messages above, and decided you have already had enough warnings that what you are doing is unacceptable. If you don't start taking notice of the messages to you from editors expressing concerns about your editing then you are likely to be blocked for a much longer time, perhaps even indefinitely. It must say something to you that about 80% of your edits have been deleted or reverted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 09:34, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@JBW: this user is a clear sockpuppet of long-term disruptive editor. Spike 'em (talk) 10:45, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have now seen that you are evading blocks on other accounts, so I've made the block indefinite, and I'll make sure none of your editing from this account remains in place. Why don't you find something more useful to do with your time? Not only are you wasting your own time, because, as you must know by now, your childish fantasy editing won't remain, but also, and more importantly, the editors and administrators who have to deal with your crap are taken away from more useful tasks, so that you actually cause damage to other parts of the encyclopaedia.
