Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
Please choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. However, do not create a new account if you wish to credit your existing contributions to a new name through a username change. To request a username change:
- Add

- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a list of names that have already been taken. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.

- Hmm. Your username isn't the only problem here. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline; it should give you an idea of why we very strongly discourage people from editing articles about people or organizations with whom they are professionally or personally connected. In this case, you appear to be creating an article about your client; this is not acceptable. --jpgordon::==( o ) 09:14, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
- I concur: I would like some confirmation that you have read and clearly understand the conflict of interest guidelines, and that you will abide by them if unblocked. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:51, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
Ok I understand. My thought process was this- a 3rd party attempted to enter a wikipedia entry about my client but it lacked references and was not written well according to wikipedia's standards and thus deleted. http://deletionpedia.dbatley.com/w/index.php?title=Sam_Barsh_(deleted_26_Mar_2008_at_06:24) I had someone who doesn't know the individual attempt to rewrite the entry in a proper way, solely using internet sources for the information. Thus i thought it wasn't a conflict of interest. This is a notable individual who should be cited in wikipedia. Any thoughts?
Decline reason:
I had someone who doesn't know the individual attempt to rewrite the entry in a proper way ... You don't get to direct the editing of the Wikipedia article about your client. --jpgordon::==( o ) 04:06, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Barshmanagement/Sam Barsh
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Barshmanagement/Sam Barsh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
