Do you still want the deleted text, or has someone already provided it to you? --barneca (talk) 00:48, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Emailing it to you shortly. --barneca (talk) 00:53, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes, that would be hard. Give me a little time to make sure I understand the ins and out of recreating this in your user space; seems harmless to me, but I don't want to step on any toes since this was a banned user. Once I figure it out, where would you like it: User:Basketball110/Deletionpedia Patrol (old)?
This is silly, so I just went ahead and userfied it to User:Basketball110/Deletion Patrol. It's up to you to take responsibility for it if you decide to go thru DRV, or re-add it (although I guarantee it will go to AfD quickly, based on that ANI thread), or do whatever it is you want to do. If you let it sit around in your user space for very long, someone is going to come along and delete it again; however, if you modify it, I think G5 would no longer apply. --barneca (talk) 01:42, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Best thing might be to do this work somewhere else besides Wikipedia. See for instance this flowchart for an example of a process in which articles can be reworked on another wiki and then moved back to Wikipedia later. 129.174.110.153 (talk) 04:23, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Wikifan6365

Well, that made us a little busy. Glad we're helping. I think I know how he/she contacted us. She probably just clicked on your name since you gave him/her a barnstar at the bottom of the IP's page. Then when she (I'll just call her a she) came to ask you for adoption, she saw my name where she was going to ask.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 01:16, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

I can just tell by the tone of her/his grammer. Well, I think I will do RC patrol now.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 01:31, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Wikiproject Question

I am tryingo make a new workgroup. I have noticed that you have made a few. I added my name to the proposal's page but haven't gotten an answer. 4 people have signed up already. Do you know what I should do?    Juthani1    22:03, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your quick reply. Its not exactly a wikiproject, but its a small workgroup which will cover a small portion of the Hndu Religion (a sect within it). It would be called the Swaminarayan Workgroup. So how do I start besides getting more members? Another future member is working on that    Juthani1    22:09, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

thank you so much    Juthani1    22:12, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Retirement?

I still don't believe that you're going to retire. This can't be true. - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 22:31, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Your addiction

You can't get off it that fast. Its like a drug, you have to ease off it. You'll be right back as soon as you know it especially since you used the retirement template. The retirement template always signifies that you have a subconscience desire to later return. If you really want to drop the habit, semi-retire, and do your best to decrease your edits by the days.--Uga Man (talk) UGA MAN FOR PRESIDENT 2008 22:33, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

May WP:GM newsletter

I know I'm butting in, but I saw your message to Jza84 and thought I'd give my thoughts. The barnstar is a good idea, but we do already have one. It's always worth checking out WT:GM to see what's been going on recently, the stand out thing that happened this month that I think deserves a mention is all the activity on the Denshaw article. It seems a long time ago, but Peterloo has been promoted since the last newsletter; while you do mention this it might be nice to add some context: in March and April there were over 700 edits to one of the project's most important articles, raising it from start class to FA in an incredibly short time. While it's useful to list the projects aims so that people don't forget about them, perhaps a progress report could be added? That last one particularly might be a bit time consuming so I'd be happy to help. Nev1 (talk) 23:17, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

I'll take care of it, but I'd rather you didn't leave. You can do more good on the inside than outside. Whatever you decide, good luck. Nev1 (talk) 23:15, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm glad you've changed your mind about leaving, good editors like yourself need to be encouraged to stay for eikipedia to work; you may want to update the participant news on the newsletter before you deliver it :-) Nev1 (talk) 22:55, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

I don't know if you saw this AfD debate, but it is one of the few that is genuinely amusing: [1]. Ecoleetage (talk) 16:58, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Casey906262 says "Thanks for adopting me!" She asked me to tell you that because she will be busy for a little bit.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 00:21, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Do you mind helping me find some reliable sources for the article? I'm trying to make DYK.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 01:59, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I did, but I didn't know if it was a reliable source. Is it?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 02:01, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

I added the status for Casey906262. All she has to do is put "in" or "out".--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 03:47, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

I think 2 years, but we're aren't really friends, she's just interested in wikipedia now. Also, she might have made an account since my best friend User:Chrisy5 is here. My second best friend is User:Flyboy 95, a relatively new user.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 03:51, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks !

Thank you very much for the status bar,um so I have to edit the page to change the status bar right or does it change by it's self ? --Casey906262 (talk) 14:05, 1 May 2008 (UTC) Never mind what I said before because I know how to manage my in and out status thing now thanks . —Preceding unsigned comment added by Casey906262 (talkcontribs) 22:46, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Adoption offers

Greetings, and thank you for your participation in the wiki-adoption project. Just wanted to drop you reminder to change the dated adoptme's to adoptoffer's when you offer adoption to folks. For example, [3]. Cheers, xenocidic (talk) 17:23, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

I guess so. I have a favor to ask you. Are you good at finding non-copyright images off the internet?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 00:41, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

As you know, I created baseball uniform yesterday. Can you find some 18 and 1900's baseball uniforms? That would be perfect for the article. Oh,and I need at least three different clothings. Possibly 2 uniforms and 1 cap.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 00:46, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
You do know that I need it less then four days for the DYK process, right?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 00:50, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Retirement

Glad to hear you're not retiring. Did the petition work? Anyway, just in case you do retire, my email is DiligentTerrier@gmail.com. Cheers! - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 18:05, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Adoption? Yeah!

Yes buddy, i'd definitely like to be adopted by a wonderful wikipedian such as yourself! Sometimes it's hard to know what the best contribution to Wikipedia should be, so please set me any tasks you think are worthwhile. Huzzah! Chauncey freak (talk) 00:44, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, i would like to know what the best way to just generally improve Wikipedia is; new articles, expansion of obscure ones, patrolling recent changes? What do you think are the best things one can do for Wikipedia?
Also, re: the comment below, if you think you are taking on too many adoptees, that's fine, don't want to stress you out too much :)

Adoption

Another adoptee? Not to take over your wikilife but I suggest not adopting anymore users. Your a new adopter and I don't think you can handle too many adoptees, since your not online as often. I think three is the right size for you, if you know what I mean.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 00:58, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I think you should remove the userbox. Also, if you need a hand on your adoption, just ask as I see your busy sometimes.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 01:03, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
That explains it. And yeah, good idea. Good luck!--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 01:07, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Useight (talk) 02:38, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Re:Baseball Uniform

Sorry for the wait, I just added 2 more paragraghs to the article. It was nominated by oreo yesterday. He's going to looking for some images. I think the article will pass the DYK. I worked maybe too hard on the article.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 14:59, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Have you created any DYK's, GA's, or FA's, or even promoted one to them?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 15:13, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I guess that's okay. Just remember that many users support great article writers in the RFA, at least that's what everyone comments on in the support section.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 15:20, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

It was nominated earlier today by Oreo, around 1:00 (UTC). And which article?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 19:54, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

It's a wierd place but it's on a templates talkpage. Visit Template talk:Did You Know. I actually nominated an article myself there that was created today. It was Ronald Joy. Do you think it's ready? Also, I added an image to Baseball uniform.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 20:00, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
According to my navigation popups, it's only 1kb long. A DYK must be at least 1.5 (about 1500 characters) to to pass one of the criterias not including refs, infoboxes, external links, and images. So it's really not even 1 kb. I suggest expanding it greatly, adding more refs that are reliable. Anyyhing else?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 20:06, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Also, the article cannot be a stub. Oh, and when you think it's ready, just tell me so I can look over it.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 20:10, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

May I give you some suggestions?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 20:17, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I'll give you a suggestion anyway. Take a look at these basketball related red links.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 20:23, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
That article pretty much has the same problems as the last one. It needs expansion and some refs.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 21:08, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Oh...--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 21:15, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, not really... AP exams end on the 14th, which is my English one. Then I have regular exams. But I've decided I've had enough of writing essays for a good two days or so, so I'll try to get back to Wikipedia... as soon as I regain some of my social life and see my girlfriend for the first time in four days, lol. Huh? 141.151.164.151 (talk) 04:44, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

There was a references right there. You modified the title, then put up the {{fact}} template after it. Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 04:45, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

There was not a reference to Joubert dating Marchei, and I modified Marchei's title. She 's the Italian national champion. 141.151.164.151 (talk) 05:21, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

You might have a problem

Howdy - I warned a user for an edit shortly after you did (different edits, we didn't step on each others' toes). I noticed your warning had the headline 'April' when today is the 4th. I'm not sure if this was a human error or a more problematic one in whatever script you are using. Just a heads up. Nestorius (talk) 04:56, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

You're right! It's a human error. I've got no idea how I got them mixed up. I guess I warned too many vandals in April :) Happy hobbying, editing, working, or whatever. Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 05:21, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello

Are you online now? - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 11:57, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

RfA

Please don't withdraw ... at least stay in another hour. - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 17:14, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Your RFA

I'm sorry that your request for adminiship failed, but with all due honesty: events like this and the whole cabal fiasco pretty much ensured that this particular RFA would inevitably fail. I'm not a fan of cabals, I never have been, but that wasn't the only reason I opposed. To gain adminship, you need to show that you can admit mistakes (and reflect/repent upon them), make sustained valued contributions to the projects (not as part of some award centre or AIV report-only account) and not request adminiship prematurely–I found the latter out myself, and I am glad so. If you ask my opinion on going again, I'd suggest waiting a year or so, even then the chances are slim in my opinion. I know other editors who have bad histories, and they've RFA'd after 9 months or so and they still fail. You need to make sure you know what you're doing, and make sure that what you're doing is for the betterment of the project. Regards, Rudget (Help?) 17:32, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Things aren't going very well are they :(. We've talked about the you loosing your cool once before. Also, I never knew you were socking, unless it was that time when you were an IP, vandalizing something other than wikipedia articles. But it's so much better if you don't vandalize at all. And the answers... not all that great. I actually might have opposed you. You should have made an editor review if your ready. Either that, you should tell in your review that you are about to RFA. Sorry to hear though. Also, you should try admin coaching and have a practice RFA. It helps a lot. You did the exact ssame thing that User:Nothing444 did, he ran without any warning. You did almost the same thing (WOW this is long :).). Comments?--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 18:05, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
I see. Also, Nothing444 said he would run in a year but he ran 10 months early. You said around August, but your, 5ish months early. Well, as Rudget said, "wait 9 months", I think that should be enough. I know it's a long time, but you can become very more experienced. Also, when did you loose your cool? Because many users at the RFA opposes section were really worried about that.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 18:11, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, try not to do numbers 1 & 2. And I actually remember number three, the discussion on your talkpage. And I remember when you were an IP on my talkpage.--RyRy5 (talkwikify) 18:26, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry to hear about this. With the situations that happened fairly recently, the result was inevitable, but in my view you're actually doing most things correct in the present. My advice would be to maintain consistency on the good things you do (which are many) and avoid areas or situations which are likely to trigger an impulsive response, or think carefully through them and your responses to them before getting involved. Also second Rudget's suggestions above. The community's much more likely to forgive indiscretions if there's a long history absent of such indiscretions, and if there's a pattern of solid article contribution. Orderinchaos 00:02, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Please consider taking the AGF Challenge

I would like to invite you to consider taking part in the AGF Challenge which has been proposed for use in the RfA process [4] by User: Kim Bruning. You can answer in multiple choice format, or using essay answers, or anonymously. You can of course skip any parts of the Challenge you find objectionable or inadvisable.--Filll (talk) 17:43, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank You

Thank you so very kindly for awarding me the Editor's Barnstar award. That is my first award on Wikipedia and I really do try my hardest to maintain many of the airlines articles.--Golich17 (talk) 19:08, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Re:Another Wiki

No thanks. I rarely edit other wiki's than this. Did you create that? Milk’s Favorite Cookie (Talk) 19:42, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

WP:NBA Newsletter

You said a while ago that User:Shruti14 would handle the May edition of the newsletter. However, he hasn't started yet, and when I asked, he didn't reply. If he doesn't start, I'll just start on it, if that's OK with you. Noble Story (talk) 01:28, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

OK, I'll start with the May newsletter. Also, I will include a "Collaboration of the Month", as I mentioned here. The first article will be Magic Johnson. Noble Story (talk) 03:09, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
By the way, just wondering: Who did you deliever the newsletter to? I see you sent it to all the members. But did you send it to anyone else? Noble Story (talk) 12:10, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Is there any chance you could make an ad for Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains/Monorail task force? Oh, and why are you feeling so positive? Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 00:44, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, unfortunately I don't do those any more. Also, I fail. As do you, but someone seems to have reverted that. Gurch (talk) 01:31, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Undo

Question for Ecoleetage: When you go to the history of this page, beside my latest edit, does it give you the option to "rollback|undo" or just "undo?" Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 01:45, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Answer It only says "Undo." And also -- and I hope I am not rude -- but please STOP butting into messages I am leaving on MoP's talk page. When I am asking him a question, I am asking him a question. I will be glad to converse with you on any topic that you wish, but you should not be inserting yourself into Q&A exchanges that don't involve your input. Thank you. Ecoleetage (talk) 01:56, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

It's on the mainpage.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:09, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes. But I actually think that popups are faster. I won't be using rollback very often now.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:12, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Sure. Smiles are for friends and other users you may have been in disagreements with.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:19, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

I guess the smile didn't work. Well, I bet you, Ecolgee, and MoP will work things out. Also, it may be a good idea not to make edit summaries like [this as it can sometimes cause some mishaps like the comment you left on Mop's talk page about you not meaning that. That could be a problem if Ecologee took it the wrong way.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:57, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

I saw it worked out. And this is why I don't cuss. It is possible that it can cause mishaps by someone taking it the wrong way, especially on the internet. But at least it was resolved.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 03:09, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Gurch

I think its a joke.--Uga Man (talk) UGA MAN FOR PRESIDENT 2008 03:22, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

I glad it helped a few articles. Also, I'm sorry I didn't vote in your RFA, I didn't even know it was going on.--Uga Man (talk) UGA MAN FOR PRESIDENT 2008 03:48, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. I saw your interess in articles about Romania. If you should start some project about and need help, pls let me know, I am also interested in that (especially about Cluj County and Transylvania). --R O A M A T A A | msg  17:07, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

RE: I'll just call this adoption, heck with it

Why horrible? And how come the song made you reconsider your time on Wikipedia?

Also, sure, I'd love to make an ad! I'm making a bio project in Photoshop right now, I'm sure I could take a break and compose the ad. What general colours would you like it to have, etc.? Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 02:19, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

P.S. I told Ecoleetage that you were just trying to be helpful by replying to him on my talk page; it'd be sad if you guys felt ill will towards each other, so I just want to make sure he understands. :)

It's not polite to talk about people behind their back -- especially if they can hear you! In any event, I reverted the edit and restored the smiley face to my talk page. Thanks. Ecoleetage (talk) 02:55, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
I agree that there are lots of Maxwells out there; however, I guess we have to learn to accept our differences; Wikipedia is like the real world, just more drama-prone. And you're not dramatic in the least; at least, compared to some we have around here.
I'll work on the monorail thing and get back (hopefully) by tomorrow. And don't worry about that edit summary, it was just a confusing moment. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 03:52, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
If you want to tell me I'd be happy to listen! Don't worry, I wouldn't regret it, I'm always willing to help. Of course, if you choose to disclose that you'll probably want to email me (unless you're comfortable with Wikipedia reading it). Take it easy, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 04:51, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Listen, I'd like to second that emotion. If you ever need to speak with an impartial outsider on any subject, feel free to contact me directly (I'll give you my personal e-mail if you want it). I'll be glad to hear what you need to say. Ecoleetage (talk) 14:43, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, the offer stands -- if you ever need a free ear, I am here to hear. Ecoleetage (talk) 00:16, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Check the history of this section of your talk page -- I listed the email address in an easy-to-decipher coded manner. Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 00:42, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
It is probably easier to just email me directly -- I don't know how to respond to your monkey messages, since I don't have a return address. Plus, there's a good chance I will be off WP for a few days, so I won't be able to respond directly here. Thanks. Ecoleetage (talk) 01:41, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
If you are online, go to Yahoo or Gmail and create a free account Ecoleetage (talk) 01:47, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

I need you to do me a favor. Anypage you created in my subpages has to be deleted as I think it causes too much space and it has no use. I tagged some but I'm not the author. In the edit summary, just say I requested deletion but I didn't create the pages. Thanks. BTW, most of the pages you created are userbox pages.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:33, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

You missed some. Try User:RyRy5/Experiment which I accidentally tagged myself and User:RyRy5/Guestbook ubx.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:44, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, at first, I thought User:Nothing444 created the subpage but it was you when I checked the history. I then undid it. Also, keep this:
The Minor Barnstar
Just a small token for completing my favor of tagging my subpages you created for deletion. Thanks, and keep up your kindness. :) -- RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:50, 7 May 2008 (UTC))
Well, I have now. I don't think I'll participate as I am not a good image uploader.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:55, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Do you mean uploading images or participating in the best pictures of wikipedia?--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:58, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Sure. So what do we start with?--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:00, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I'll decide what image to upload but I won't start uploading it. I guess I'll see you later.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:07, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

I think I will just stick to not uploading images for now. I'm busy at the moment. I'll ask again when I think I should learn more about it. So how's your articles going? Any DYK/DYK noms you are about to do?--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:07, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Random Article Contest

How about changing the rules for the User:Diligent Terrier/Random Article Contest, so that if you get the assessment one step up from the previous assessment after you edit the article, you get an award - instead of getting it to GA status, which is a longshot for some articles. - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 13:24, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

(Might as well start a new section) Well, I nominated Bahá'í Faith in Niger a few days ago. I also nominated Ronald Joy. I didn't create any of them though. Any comments on them?--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:22, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

If your planning to GAN that, it still needs a little improvements. I suggest adding more refs and a small amount of expansion.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:31, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
ZZ Top or whatever the name is.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:37, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, but ZZ Top song cannot be nominated because it is far too old. An article DYK nom must be less than 5 days long, unless you can expand the ZZ Top song 5 times larger. You should read more of the DYK criteria at WP:DYK. Also, do you mind reviewing me? Just click "Review" in my sig. But be honest please. Others think that my "WikiFriends" are not being serious in my other editor review.-- RyRy5 (talkReview) 02:44, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I noticed that on my watchlist. I'll try to do those that you commented about. Wait, so what am I doing here chatting? Off to RC. Cheers.-- RyRy5 (talkReview) 03:31, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
How's the weather in Dallas? Just kidding. :) I stopped that a while ago.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 03:44, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Adoption

"I'd like to adopt you. Let me know. Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 01:42, 8 May 2008 (UTC)"

Ya sure. If you looked over my page you probably know that I have no idea how to use the Wikipedia without stepping on someone's toes so I would appreciate it. Neutral777 (talk) 06:17, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Just looking through my watchlist and saw that [[User:Neutral777] has asked for you to adopt them. I feel that it wouldnt be a good idea as this user is currently talking to the legal department of wikipedia for being blocked. Therefore I strongly believe that you should not adopt this user as they may drag you into their legal suit against wikipedia. Christopher140691 (talk) 10:06, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the barnstar! Much appreciated. « Milk's Favorite Cookie ( talk / contribs) 21:07, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

re:Adoption

Yeah, if want to offer co-adoption to User:Udonknome, that'd be appreciated. RC-0722 247.5/1 23:35, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Another adoptee? Anyway, Ronald Joy is/was on the mainpage today as my yet another DYK.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 00:15, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! :) Do you know why Kimu was blocked? I just want to know if it was a serious block.-- Ryan (talkReview) 00:29, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'll ask him later. But I once looked at his archives and I think he just vandalized 4 times. I'll be on RC now. Thanks again.--Ryan (talkReview) 00:35, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Ah, so your the one who asked me a question. I answered it. You may want to add to your review if it changed when reading my answer.--Ryan (talkReview) 01:16, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Bypassing Browser Cache

I believe bypassing the browser's cache is closer to purging than it is to refreshing. I believe you can bypass your cache by pressing CTRL-F5, while pressing F5 alone would just refresh. You may want to ask at the Computing Reference Desk for more details. Useight (talk) 00:49, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

P.S. - Your userpage looks so familiar. Did you copy it from someone? Or have people been copying it from you? Or have we had a previous encounter? P.P.S. - Your page says you're offline. Useight (talk) 00:54, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Ah, figured it out. I made a previous comment on your talk page that made it into Archive 14. Useight (talk) 00:56, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Sure, I love helping others. Well, um, it looks a little confusing. Do you mind telling me what kind of codes you added? I can only recognize the navigation popups.--Ryan (talkReview) 02:00, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

This should be easy, I think. Did you go to my preferences - Gadgets and check mark the box next to "Navigation Popups"?--Ryan (talkReview) 02:02, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Yum. So, do you have any questions about popups (I use it all the time)? Also, do you mind telling me what else you installed? I would like to see if any of them is worth adding to my monobook.--Ryan (talkReview) 02:08, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Great, and yes it's fast, almost like rollback actually. Don't you have rollback rights?--RyRy5 (talkReview) 00:42, 10 May 2008 (UTC) Well, just remember that rollback and popups have a fixed edit summary. If you have to revert an edit and your not sure if it's vandalism, use "undo" with an explanation.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:08, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

DYK

Well, I have a "New Pages" bar on the toolbox, so I often click on some random articles that I nominate. « Milk's Favorite Cookie ( talk / contribs) 23:55, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

About that. I just check Special:NewPages for some.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:17, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Status

Have you watchlisted this? If you ever want to know if I'm online or not, just watchlist it. I'v added your status subpage about 2-3 weeks ago.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:15, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

A few, but the one I significantly help out is the Wikipedia:WikiProject Wikify and the Wikipedia:WikiProject User Page Help.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:21, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
I guess so. I'll try finding some others. Now, I'll be a little busy RC patroling and possibly article creating.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 01:26, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Noticed you on RC a few times. Do you need any help on DYK nominating, finding, etc?--RyRy5 (talkReview) 04:00, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

(ec) Remember, images aren't part of the DYK criteria (I pretty much memorized the criteria). I noticed you editing the Dallas Mavs article and the History of the LA Lakers.--RyRy5 (talkReview) 04:08, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
