James Tootie Hogan and List of jazz guitarists[edit]
As with other lists, this is a list of musicians of sufficient notability to have specific Wikipedia biographies where the reader can find more; if it wasn't for that basic criterion, it would be an unreferenced list of names without context. Hence the reversion of the addition.
I see you're preparing an article on Hogan though. If that is published onto Wikipedia, and can be seen to meet the notability criteria for musicians, then he would be fair enough to appear and be linked on lists. The draft article is really going to need some 3rd party references though, as the criteria are rather stringent. Something like a signed Allmusic biography or a critical review of Hogan's album would be ideal. I'd hoped to be able to find something that I could suggest, but sadly haven't as yet. You identify that the author of the image is Dustin Shores Photography. However, you haven't indicated the license terms under which they've released the image. Additionally, as you are not the photographer, we'll need some way to verify the license terms: this can be either a link to the company's website where the picture is posted under a free license, or else they'll have to email the volunteer response team to indicate that the image is under a free license. —C.Fred (talk) 18:46, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

In this case, you identify the source of the image as "James 'Tootie' Hogan's personal collection". How did you gain access to the collection? Are you related to Hogan, employed by him, or otherwise in a conflict of interest with the article on Hogan? —C.Fred (talk) 18:53, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
