[edit]Hello, I'm David Gerard. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Also, crypto blogs are not usable as cites - you need reliable sources, such as mainstream press. David Gerard (talk) 21:53, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi David, there isn't much mainstream press coverage of cryptocurrencies, as such its really hard to find what you'd call normal information. I tried putting peer reviewed sourcing, from elsevier and a magazine about verge, but you blocked my change. I'm not trying to use it as a soap box, nor a promotional piece, i'm trying to use wikipedia as intended and collect the information people may want to have on verge currency. Thanks BobMoran23 (talk) 22:10, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
