Little context in Allumni

Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Re: Mark Gasser

Hi, thanks for your message. I explained all the changes that I made to the Mark Gasser article in my edit summaries. Firstly, the given source nowhere claims to list the "100 most famous people of all time to ever have come from South Yorkshire"—this claim is therefore simply false. Secondly, I removed the lead title per the manual of style (see also Wikipedia:Lead section). Thirdly, you say that you have spent a lot of time researching the article, it should therefore not be a problem for you to cite your sources—Wikipedia is not a place of first publication; all facts must first have been published elsewhere by reliable sources (see also WP:NOR). As far as I can see the reviews listed at the end of the article are not sources for the facts given in the article—in fact the listed reviews really add nothing to the article and could be removed. —Jeremy (talk) 05:17, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would certainly help if you could come up with exact references (i.e. issue and date etc, ideally availabe online) of Paul Driver (Sunday Times, UK) and Chris Morley (Birmingham Post UK) mentioned here, and particularly for the pop-music-collaborations mentioned in the article ("worked with many contemporary popular artists such as P!nk, Tara Hanrahan, Jarvis Cocker and Björk") —AldeBaer 13:24, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
