[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Self-experimentation. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Dicklyon (talk) 15:26, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Kevin Warwick
[edit]I have reported you for edit warring here: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Edit_warring#User:Bradka_reported_by_User:Flummi35_.28Result:_.29 Flummi35 (talk) 06:24, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- I have closed the above report without action. Please remember, however, that there is no deadline for fixing an article, and repeatedly removing the same edit over a longer period may still be edit warring; there are a few exceptions, including removal of poorly sourced material about living persons. Please establish consensus at Talk:Kevin Warwick. - 2/0 (cont.) 17:11, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- 2/0 - Thank you for your actions on this issue. This particular problem appears to have flared up following the article at http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/06/17/captain_cyborg_on_radio_4/ As pointed out by Mdd, on the wikipedia page for The Register it says The Register occasionally runs articles satirising selected people e.g., Captain Cyborg (Kevin Warwick), and Jimbo Wales. In this case The Register specifically posted the item in question, referring to edit wars. The result is therefore perhaps not surprising. As you requested, I started a section on the Talk:Kevin Warwick page to establish consensus - including offering my own views. You may well wish to have a look at that section. Your comments will be welcome. It is worth pointing out that despite the Kevin Warwick page being locked a further attempt was made to insert the item in question. Bradka (talk) 11:33, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
- 2/0 - When you locked the Kevin Warwick site you gave a date of 20 July 2011 before it would be unlocked. However it appears to have been unlocked on 28 June 2011 by Bihco. Any information you could give on this change of timing would be welcome. - Bradka (talk) 09:20, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- 2/0 - A concensus discussion was held, as you suggested - it was one sided though. In any case a 'compromise' solution appeared. However once the page was unlocked the specific paragraph in question was once more repeatedly inserted, with exactly the same wording, despite being removed by a bot. This was done with no regard for other information on the page, i.e. it was not edited in it was merely pushed in as well as the compromise solution remaining. Now on the page the same sentence is repeated and factually incorrect information has been included. So what happens next? - Bradka (talk) 07:40, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Robert James Clayton, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page City University (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]If you checked your edit instead, you would find out pretty much why your edit has been reverted. First off, incorrect spelling, secondly, wrong chronology as well, so it would be a great help if you used "show preview" button before saving any changes. For the rest, adding wikilinks to non-existing articles hardly makes sense either in terms of artistic achievements of the discussed artist or else, that's what external links such as e.g. IMDb with featuring information in full detail of her work serve for, unless you decide to create the respective article in advance. MiewEN is an ASS, why is he allowed to do the shit he is doing and get away with it?.
