You recently added an external link to Theater drapes and stage curtains that links to a YouTube video clip. I removed the link per WP:YOUTUBE. Specifically, the video appears at Rose Brands' corporate web site and is therefore protected by copyright, and it also violates WP:LINKSPAM because the linked video has text (at both beginning and end) that would lead readers to their commercial site.
BTW, when adding a link you should not mark it as a minor edit. Also, YouTube video links should not appear inline with text, but in a section such as "External links". Please don't be discouraged; the video clip would make an excellent addition to the article if it didn't have these problems. Lambtron (talk) 13:26, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
- It occurred to me that Rose Brands might release their video clip under a suitable creative commons license and post it to wikimedia commons. This would create good will for Rose Brands, which would be listed as the contributor, and it would enable the video (with text removed) to be used in WP articles.
