Request reason:

I am completely baffled to find that I have been blocked let alone blocked for working for someone else. I am really confounded as to why this has been done and who is behind the ban. I have been one of thousands of proud Wikipedia users for many decades and was excited to contribute to areas of interest to me. Upon inspection of the talk page and the meaning of having one's writing having a line through it, I suspect that I was banned for writing on the list of Ukrainian Rulers??? Pherhaps an explanation is required, as someone who is 1/6 Ukrainian and who is interested in the history of the Huns and Khazars I was interested to look at the page list of Ukrainian Rulers. Never in my imagination would I believe my account would be defamed for sharing an opinion with someone who I don't know and for briefly writing on a topic of interest, there exists no proof of any connection between me and DaneilLerish and I am interested to know how an account can be arbitrarily banned with zero proof. Honestly I am completely offended and think this is an atrocious message to be sending to new Wikipedia users who are offering to give up their time and efforts to improve this public forum. The edit for which I believe I have been banned for included adding to the biography of Oleg the Seer and backing the use of Ukrainian as a synonym of Ruthenian as more than 5 citations support. There really seems to be a conflict of interest here whereby I am being banned not for actually working for someone but sharing their ideas. This is disappointing and as I said how can you slew defamatory accusations and ban an account without any actual proof? Words cannot explain what a discouraging and nasty surprise this has been and I sincerely hope it can be changed.--BrianTTT (talk) 9:58 am, 4 September 2020, Friday (17 days ago) (UTC−5)BrianTTT

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. signed, Rosguill talk 23:23, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
