Greetings Sir 331dot, I am seriously sad to know that my article about the oldest barbershop in the philippines is blocked, it may look like a promotional page but in contrary im one of a fan of the store, ive been telling them that i will try to make a wikipedia article for them, this is my first time using wikipedia and will do everything to make sensible contribution for the company, which i really admire. It informs everyone just by one click, the company that i am creating is really important to all the barbershop community in our country. To know and value the history of the industry. Im now confused about Wikipedia, which as i understood it is a site that tells a story and informs about a classified story?

"Inform and tell the story of the company" is merely promotional, as i am experiencing this right now, i beg to disagree and ask for your help and assistance. It is my first time contributing and i am deeply saddened by my experience.

It was not my intention to be rude, just to directly correct your misunderstandings. If you took it as rude, I apologize. Wikipedia is not a place to just tell about something. We consider that to be promotional- you do not have to be soliciting customers or selling something. Wikipedia is not a database of companies where existence warrants a mention. This is an encyclopedia with criteria for inclusion, called "notability"- such as the definition of a notable company. The oldest barber shop in the Phillipines might qualify- but any article about it should not tell how great it is or include language like "it aims to provide high quality and affordable services". I am not connected to the business my only connection is im one of their avid customers, im a government employee and 20 years working as a public servant.

I rather choose using my name or initials if it would be possible.
