Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have an undisclosed financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future. MER-C 13:06, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have not been paid to create the article you guys blocked me for, no artist or music label would pay an inexperienced person like me to create a Wikipedia page, I am new to this, it is totally normal that I would make mistakes at first, but I feel like you guys just delete people's work and research that has taken us a long time, instead of helping us fix errors. I made mistakes like adding pictures that were copy righted on other articles before as I didn't know how the system worked, I was warned about it and now I understand it and won't do it again for example, that's how it works, we learn, now I feel like I am being accused of violating the terms and conditions as you guys think I got paid for this, I don't know the artist personally, and I am no affiliated with him, I simply know of him because he is one of my favourite rappers, he deserves a Wikipedia page, he has been noted big companies like IMDb, MTV and Bantumen (Portugal). Also, I wanted to clarify something that could have led to you guys thinking I got paid for the article, my username (centralmastering) was a name of a music group of music engineers found by the rapper Claudio Marques, I used it as a username as I am a fan, again I have no affiliation with the actual group or name. I want to be part of Wikipedia and create more articles if you guys allow me to grow and learn, thanks in advance. Centralmastering (talk) 13:52, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I have great difficulty believing that you are just a fan of a group of engineers, decided to use the name of said group of engineers, and decided to write about the founder of the group. Maybe you can convince another administrator, but that's how I see it. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 14:54, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I did not say that I made the article solely because I was a fan of a 'group of music engineers', I am a fan of the artist, and everything he creates, and Central Mastering is a whole movement starting from music engineers, to producers and artists, what's wrong with being their fan? What's so hard to believe?

Decline reason:

You will need to request a new username that represents just yourself and not a group. It's very possible that you are not editing for pay, but if you have any conflict of interest at all you will need to disclose that, or edit articles about subjects that you are not related to. – bradv🍁 06:33, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
