Riemann[edit]

Hello. Thanks for your contributions to List of topics named after Bernhard Riemann. I was actually a bit surprised that the page didn't already exist, since the ones for Gauss and Euler and some others had been there for a long time. Michael Hardy (talk) 01:35, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. While we're on the subject, we could have lists for Cauchy, Newton and others. Charvest (talk) 07:57, 29 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And Bayes. Lots of things are named after Bayes, including concepts in game theory that Bayes probably never had the least hint of. Michael Hardy (talk) 01:26, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Lloyds banking group.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lloyds banking group.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:07, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lloyds Banking Group image[edit]

Hi, I noticed you reverted my change of image on Lloyds Banking Group but I'm not sure I understand why you did it. What do you mean when you say it is "unviewable"? - EstoyAquí(tce) 12:50, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've posted a message at Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)‎ about this. Feel free to revert back to your image in the meantime. Charvest (talk) 12:56, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Eyebrowsadvert.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Eyebrowsadvert.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:13, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Eyebrows (advert)[edit]

I have nominated Eyebrows (advert), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eyebrows (advert). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ╟─TreasuryTagcontribs─╢ 17:37, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
