Louisiana

[edit]

There is no university in Louisiana called Louisiana. There is the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and its sister school the The University of Louisiana at Monroe. Please correct or I am taking to a higher level. Victor — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.200.2.67 (talkcontribs) 00:21, December 7, 2014‎

Edits to University of Louisiana at Lafayette article

[edit]

Can you please stop editing University of Louisiana at Lafayette and post your concerns in the article's Talk page? Several editors have reverted your edits so continuing to make them is edit warring which will lead to a restriction or removal of your editing privileges. I can't speak for others but I've reverted some of your edits because you haven't (a) explained any of them, in Talk or by using edit summaries, (b) cited any reliable sources, and (c) changed the actual names or moved any of the article whose links you're changing (e.g., changing Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns to Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns in this article doesn't change the title of that article). So you guys choose to refer to a university by the incorrect name on purpose? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cjm8461 (talkcontribs)
Please go read the extensive, and - for now - conclusive discussion at Talk:Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns on the naming issue. As for your edit to LSU Tigers softball, that was straight-up vandalism, which you need to stop. JohnInDC (talk) 11:29, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
What I have read is a bunch of opinions. The University requested to the athletics branded as Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns. Why is is so difficult to abide by the request??
P.s. Are you from Monroe or that cesspool they call Baton Rouge?? That's the only reason for the defiance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cjm8461 (talkcontribs)
You can't have read the page very carefully, because if you had you would have seen the lengthy discussion about Wikipedia naming policies, which provide the "reason" you aren't finding. Also please sign your comments with four tildes ("~"). Oh, also please Assume Good Faith on the part of other editors, rather than lashing out with personal accusations. Thanks.
