April 2017
[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Ryan Clarke, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Bradley Lowery
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Bradley Lowery requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 08:47, 19 May 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to England national football team, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.
The 2017 under-20 World Cup win does not belong on this page which is about the senior men's team. Please see England national under-20 football team. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 12:56, 11 June 2017 (UTC)
flagicon vs fb
[edit]I'd like to give you the chance to familiarize yourself with differences between the various football club templates, fyi. The template you used for both 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification and 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification (inter-confederation play-offs) was the Template:flagicon, which only outputs the country's flag. I was very kind in helping you fix your mistake by replacing the templates where necessary to Template:fb, which output both the country's flag and name. For example:
{{fb|ENG}} or {{fb-rt|ENG}}
This code outputs England or England . Note the position of the flag in each code, which can be useful when editing two-leg tables. In the case of club football, we use flagicon to represent the country each club is based. I hope you use this information to improve upon your skills when editing Association Football articles. Speedy deletion nomination of British Truck Racing Championship
[edit]Hello Connor Mc,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged British Truck Racing Championship for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Live updates
[edit]Hi.
Please do not update statistics or scores while a match is in progress. Instead, wait until the match has finished before updating. At WikiProject Football there is a consensus not to add live scores and also a consensus not to update any statistics while a match is in progress. Without live updates it is easier to avoid duplicate information and errors from being published on the article.
Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 17:45, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Frank Lampard, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Egghead06 (talk) 19:56, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Mark Yeates. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:18, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Robert Kubica, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. – Sabbatino (talk) 13:01, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
- I think I know what has happened here — you have mis-read an article. There is a two-day test session after the Hungarian Grand Prix and Renault are considering putting Kubica in the car on one of those days. It's completely different to Kubica replacing Palmer for the race. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 08:20, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
