Hi Wayne.

I hope the consequences of your writing here are good, and that many people can read and benefit from your work.

Welcome to Wikipedia.

To get your writing on a new line in wikitext you actually need to put in two blank lines. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:43, 21 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Evolution of precordillera.svg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Evolution of precordillera.svg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Yeah, for this image, which I can believe was your own work, you can add a {{CC-BY-SA-4.0}} tag to give it a license. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:36, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Another image issue

[edit]

Hello Wayne. You uploaded File:Plan view Late Precambrian-Cambrian rifted margin.jpg giving credit to Benedetto, 2010. What is the evidence that Benedetto has granted a CC-BY-SA-4.0 license for this image? It that author has not given this license, we will have to get this image removed from Commons. DYK for Geological history of the Precordillera terrane

[edit]

On 6 February 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Geological history of the Precordillera terrane, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Precordillera Platform in Argentina may have originally broken off from rocks that are now in the southeastern United States? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Geological history of the Precordillera terrane), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
