B&B and Y&R Wikiproject proposal

There is the link to the proposal. Also, I was considering making a page for Summer Newman. I have finally got into LB's acting, i think she is great and I'm not happy they are replacing her. I disagree with "They do not warrant a page because they are minors". Summer so far has had notable stories and we have much to document. Yes, that's a good idea. She's a teenager and now warrants a page. Can we use your sandbox this time? I've added my user name under "Support" in the proposal. And I thought MF retired from Wikipedia indefinitely? I'm not entirely keen on developing a page for Jabot. I know its relevant in both the show and in real life, but I'm not sure there's enough information out there to build a good quality article for it. He was a big part of some recent changes for Soap articles and i still refer to his opinion on things. I don't think someone warrants a page based on age, or duration. The page has already been developed it is just in progress. I'm not asking you to fully work on it, haha :) just add things if you want. Btw I love Jennifer Landon's hair Lol. Okay sounds good. I doubt Abby dies. In the Soaps In Depth report of her final airdate, there was no mention of a "dramatic exit" or anything. And October 23 is a Tuesday, I don't think they'd kill someone off on a day other than Friday! LOL. I don't want Abby to die, we just need a break from her for a while. And they wouldn't kill her off with Ashley unavailable to return. I love Chadam but they're too boring. We need a major spice-up. My dream is for them to become the ultimate villain couple! Both characters individually need spicing up too. And c'mon, we need closure to this Anita/Jeffrey marriage crap. Last I saw, Anita presented their marriage certificate to a shocked Gloria, who is now all accepting of this? It wasn't played out right and that really pisses me off. I was hoping Jennifer Landon would have blonde hair, like before on ATWT. I didn't like the whole redhead thing and I don't like Phyllis as a brunette either. If "Niktor" remarries, it will be fantastic. The only reason I enjoy them together is because when they're apart, everything virtually crumbles in their worlds and it's a boring process. For example, Nikki and Jack reunited and Victor married Sharon, which just caused havoc in Genoa City. I have yet to watch the last two episodes of this week so we can discuss after tomorrow! Yea, same here, And I don't want her to die either! She is Victor & Ashley's only child and also carries on Brad's legacy. Yea, Chadam are boring. Well, i wonder what their baby dying will do to the relationship. Noo Chelsea could never be a villain Lol...well she used to be manipulative so that could work maybe. And I'm not too sure about villain couple. I thought Sharon and Brad would have made a good villain couple. In all honesty, Jeff/Gloria are really boring these days. I loved the writing when after John died, the animosity towards Gloria from the Abbott family. I think MS was just experimenting. She went fully black now she is slowly going back to being a red-head. True, the show seems "right" when Niktor are together. I thought JFP's first episode was October 12? MAB's name is still shown as "executive producer" onscreen. The only thing I noticed was that it said "Written by Josh Griffith", and then MAB, Hogan Sheffer and Scott Hamner. What's going on? I done with MAB! Where's JFP?! Also, I like your Jess Walton image. But I reverted your Eileen Davidson one because in all honesty the previous image was much more recent and better quality. Let's just keep it as is. Jeff/Gloria were interesting, but that was a few years ago. Did you watch John's death storyline on YouTube and the saga that continued afterwards when Gloria and Jeff invaded the Abbott mansion and claimed half of it which annoyed the hell out of Jack & Sharon? Yea, that was pretty funny. The actress is capable but now all that Gloria is diminished to is the women behind the counter at "Glowarm" ..is that how u spell it? (awful restaurant name tbh). But I'm happy we've been seeing more of Lauren/Fen/Michael and even Gloria. I'm so annoyed at the way they've all been treated; their family is never shown on-screen much, only Michael as the lawyer. Ew, have you seen the new Summer? I don't like her. I prefer LB. Yea i know, I can't wait till MAB's name is knocked off. Yea, I saw that. It was pretty nice to see. What do you mean "more recent, and better quality?" that one was from like 4-5 years ago and the one I changed it to was from 2010 I believe.... but whatever, I'm not gonna get into an edit war over info-box pics again. Info-box pics don't have to be good quality; they are actually meant to have low quality compared to the original picture so I never get why people talk about quality, etc. No I decided not to do a Summer article anymore. What I mean was that the current image looks more like Ashley from the past year. It doesn't matter in the big picture though, you're right. I was intrigued by the idea of developing an article for Summer so if I find enough info for one, I think I'll build a page for her. But it's definitely not on the top of my to-do list. I have not seen Haley King yet but I found it stupid how LB's last scene was a car crash, and now she'll wake up with a different face or something? But I love Robert Adamson as Noah. Even though he hasn't had anything major yet I think he has major potential and already is much more interesting than Kevin Schmidt. But I'm still not entirely used to him yet, just before I was like, "Wait, who's that again?" I think he'd be great with Eden again. A fight or rivalry needs to spice up Kyle and Eden. Hm I disagree, but never mind. Same here, but that was only because I took personal interest in the character. I hate the new actress. You can if you want, and I'll help. Omg they are at it again with Sharon's picture. So annoying. I know! It's so weird. LB really worked her last scenes at the court-house. Robert Adamson is good looking and everything but not the right fit. KS has left his mark as Noah and should remain, just with a hair cut Lol. Also, Kevin Schmidt had much more chemistry as son/parent with SC and JM, IMHO. But yea i would like to see Noah and Eden back together. What do u mean 'so much for'? Yes..me too. She's still the 18 year old who wants the "Newman approval" and wants to be loved. Everything Sharon went down-hill after Cassie died and Nick cheated. I love what Sharon said, everyone else gets a free pass but she has to "pay and pay and pay" and is treated as the town pariah. Sick of it! Tbh I'm happy she burnt the ranch. The Newman children are just stuck-up and whiny (Mostly Nick/Abby), Nikki is a total hypocritical bitch and Victor..let's not even go there. He has killed people, kidnapped people, etc and he wanted Sharon to pay? Oh please. Pathetic writing from MAB. So glad she's gone. The Newmans have been a hot mess and so out of character. I am just posting this to tell you that, I think we should do something to avoid there being issues with the "occupations" sections of articles, by listening the occ. and then the duration of them. I've already done so with Sharon and Noah. Hope you can follow this format! Also, I've begun work again on trying to get Sharon to a good article status. Hopefully it makes it! Yes, it would be! I'm annoyed that now they are trying to inject Sharon into Chelsea & Adam's marriage. Thanks so much for asking them! Even if it fails, atleast I will know how I can better it to re-nominate it. So it means a lot. Vic just said that Peter Bergman, Christel Khalil and Michelle Stafford are rude and mean. She also said that Melody Thomas Scott and her husband aren't nice people. She praised Sharon Case, Joshua Morrow and Eric Breaden, though. She said that MS spit on her on purpose and also talked about YR's racism issues. Very interesting to see what she said. I originally reverted the file because it was not released by CBS; your picture is actually a promotional image of Adamson's character on Lincoln Heights; yes, it is used to decorate houses onscreen, but it is not owned by CBS. Victor Newman

I love what you've done with it. But I reverted your new image to the previous one I uploaded, because yours was from 2009 and mine is for sure from 2010. Plus, I find it better depicts the character. I'll add what I find, but it seems you already have a good grip on it. Also, I like your new Drucilla image! Creativity97 22:20, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

I've created a section for the character Jamie Vernon on the 2010s page. I was initially going to add him to the "Others" section but I looked around and the character is not a guest role; Josh Griffith revealed in TV Guide that he is part of a crucial cyberbullying storyline with Summer and Fen, and that it could last up to months. Because of all this information and such a controversial subject, I felt he needed a full-blown section. Creativity97 23:12, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

In regards to the Victor image, I like to use images that depict the character in their natural state like Sharon, instead of a photo-shoot. And I like the head-shot, which is why I uploaded it. 1 year doesn't really make a difference. Infact, I think for Victor it would be better to have an image of him in 2005 or whatever, to represent him in between years because he is a long-running character. My image is from 08, actually. Yes I know about JG and the cyber bully plot. I'm not too sure if he is on a recurring status. I think he is on an extended guest role but I guess we'll see where the story takes us. Okay, I understand your reasoning on that. From what I found about Daniel Polo he is on a recurring status and will last as long as his storyline holds out (which, again, JG said could last months). Oh okay, does JG say that during his TV Guide interview? Judging from the 14th Monday episode the storyline won't drag out too long because they've already figured out Summer has something to do with it. But because of his notability for the cyber bully storyline, maybe even if he is a guest, he should have a section. The Zellers commercial was around 1999-2000. Not sure when. Why do you ask? Oh by the way, did you hear about Sharon? She has bipolar disorder! That's a good explanation for her weirdness in the last few months. Phew. JG doesn't say that in TV Guide but I think it's a fair prediction. I was just wondering about the Zellers commercial because I saw there was no specific year in the text and was curious. I suppose bipolar disorder is a good explanation for Sharon's actions, but I would've preferred the brain tumor, LOL. And I love "Navery" (is that their couple name now?), I liked them last year too but I became disappointed with them when Avery was just doing it to spite Phyllis. I like how they're building a full-blown relationship for them. Both of them need it. But I hate Phyllis and Ronan. He's way too desperate and it's a little pathetic. I want Phyllis with Jack! He's talking to this women with cheaper clothing and asks her to run away with him and Nikki shows up in her car. Yea same here! Bipolar is okay; it explains well why she has acted the way she has, but a brain tumor would have fully redeemed her and everyone would have supported her. I was disappointed they didn't choose to do that, because SC would have been amazing in a storyline like that! I'm enjoying her acting, but I'm sick of Sharon being in one place for sooo many episodes (like in jail for months, fairview, and now that cottage at Adam's place). I hate Navery! Haha. The are so boring for me personally and the only blond Nick belongs with is Sharon, Lol. You know I hate Phyllis with a passion right? But when it comes to Avery vs. Phyllis I'm on Phyllis' team. It's weird. OMG! I love Phyllis & Ronan. I don't think he's pathetic...he just wants to be her friend and she's still hung up on Nick. Love Phonan! I think Nick is the most pathetic character on the show right now; he acts like a 16-year old kid! Needs to grow up and be a man. But Phyllis belongs with Jack, exactly! Yes I'm quite aware about your feelings for Phyllis. LOL. Are you kidding? I'm on team Avery all the way. I love her character and the actress; during the reign of MAB Avery was only in the picture for legal purposes and I almost forgot that she was Phyllis' sister. Plus, at that time I hated Jessica Collins but now she's blossomed and I love it. Should've anticipated that you'd hate Navery considering it involves Nick with someone other than Sharon! But all this back and forth with "oh, we need to stay friends" and "but no, now I want more because I've thought it over" needs to stop. They both want it so bad and they need to move forward. Ronan bores me. I prefer his cop side rather than his intimate side. I wish he had more scenes with Nina, after that whole goodbye scene in February I was so sad and wished that he'd re-connect with her when he came back but that didn't happen and I was mad. Anyway, I love Robert Adamson as Noah. He bares a resemblance to Nick which is good, and he has more of a storyline. Plus, he's an awesome actor. Kevin Schmidt bored me to all ends; I liked him as teenaged Noah but a recast should've been brought in for adult Noah. What do you think of Hunter King as Summer? LMAO Nick is such a douche. Avery used to be okay but the moment she fell for Nick her interest dropped 100%. She is so boring and annoying ha. It's not because I don't like him with anyone else but Sharon...well, he doesn't match with anybody else anyway haha. He even had more chemistry with Diane. I don't like Hunter King as Summer! Summer is meant to be 15 years old or 16...she is way too old. Hey, this is about Ronan's duration. If you look at this featured article Poppy Meadow, she has departed more then once but it just reads "2011–". Ronan's short departures never last long, only a few months here and there. Therefore it should read 1986, 2010—. Ar re 04:04, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi - wondering what your opinion is in situations when character names are initials, in regards to space or no space. I'm really only versed in GH, and am having a discussion here: Talk:A. J. Quartermaine#Requested move, but there aren't many other GH characters to compare. I came across J.T. Hellstrom from Y&R, who looks like a similar situation, and C.J. Garrison from B&B, but don't know enough about these characters to make a comparison to A.J. Characters who've appeared on more then one soap!

I've seen you slowly adding the Template:Infobox soap character 2 to some the U. S. articles and I started doing this as well. However, I have yet to figure out what to do with a character who has appeared on more then one soap opera. While some appeared on several soaps for very lengthy stints, others may have only appeared on a few episodes. My suggestion is that we add a new parameter; the series parameter can be for the show in which the character first appeared on; and the other parameter, which has yet to be named, could be for the other show or shows that the character has appeared on. I am only suggesting this because the series parameter can often become a bit clutter, especially when it comes to characters who have appeared on two or more soaps.--Nk3play2 ^{my buzz} 22:53, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

There was only one real source, the others were just recaps to source appearances. And I figured it just be easier to redirect because there wasn't a lot of information and a long plot summary. But if more information can be found I guess a more well structured article could be built. Was she really that notable during her run on Y&R? I've been trying to work on Katherine but I've been busy elsewhere. I'd love your help if you get a chance! Let me know. Also, there was a really old rerun of Y&R on, I'm guessing from late 2002 because it was Victor and Nikki's second wedding. I saw how great Heather Tom was as Victoria! I just expanded Brittany Hodges. I think we should keep articles a chance before blanking and merging especially an article of a character like Britt. I miss her! I was trying to give the decade pages a bit of a trim which Is why I ended up making an article for Angelina Veneziano. Brittany was extremely notable during her run... if she doesn't get a page then people like Ronan, Genevieve etc who are only recent shouldn't either. I understand what you mean by frustrated. From what I saw, the reviewers really don't care. Recently, I've just been trying to improve character articles for Y&R. The cyberbullying storyline and business related stories are boring. I've been watching GH the past few weeks because frankly (I hate to say it), it's more interesting than Y&R. There's really no place for her in Genoa City which is unfortunate because she's really the only person who could bring some suspense to the soap. What are you thinking? Hi! I only have that one issue from June 1999, when they reunited after the whole Grace/Nick thing. I might be able to find some more quotes from that article though, I'll check and let you know.
