Re:Senna box
Hey, no problem at all. Just thought something looked weird when I was looking at the diffs. A rare error on your part! Craig(talk) 00:48, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
Indian Grand Prix
Hey DH85868993 u are right the line "It is the second fastest circuit in the world with top speed of about 318 km/h (198 mph)." should be there in the section entitled "The circuit" (Indian Grand Prix#The circuit) .But bolding the word second fastest circuit is important as its the new circuit so this specification should be highlighted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pratyush Chowdhary (talk • contribs) 16:00, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
The Mitchells
Greetings. The reason I added the two entries for "Basil Mitchell" to the Bill Mitchell (disambiguation) page is a more extensive hep for the user doing a search. The thinking is that "Bill" is a diminutive of also "Basil", as well as "William". Perhaps we should ask Manuel? -The Gnome (talk) 07:40, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
Re: Table Headings
Cheers for that, some articles have different headings and I generally just copy a table from one article to the next (hence why I made the same mistake over again). Thinking it through however, while having the "World Championship" makes perfect sense, marking tables as "Complete" seems to be the wrong way round. We can mark possibly incomplete results tables with {{Expand list}},(or {{inc-sport}} more accurately) so to me it would make more sense to drop the Complete and have a smaller title. I don't overly mind, but it is just a thought. QueenCake (talk) 16:30, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
David Coulthard
I'm just off to bed but have just noticed that my most recent edit conflicted with yours. Longwayround (talk) 00:39, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
I've done what I consider to be a fairly substantial rewrite of the most blatantly copied passages, taking into account where I have been able the advice at WP:PARAPHRASE. I've asked for a third party to take a look before removing the CopyVio templates. Longwayround (talk) 14:27, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Re: Lotus 1987 engines
Hey DH, there is already a reference to the Lotus 99T using the 1986 Honda engine on the page (http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/1460/Lotus-99T-Honda.html). Also if you check the page for the 1987 F1 season you'll note that while the Williams FW11B used the Honda RA167-E the Camel Lotus team had to use the Honda RA166-E, despite having to have Honda's own Satoru Nakajima drive the #11 car. This was due to Williams already having an exclusive contract with the Japanese company. The only way Lotus could get Honda as a replacement for Renault was if they used the 1986 spec engine.
Of course both Lotus and McLaren had use of the Honda RA168-E in 1988. Lotus didn't have an exclusive contract which meant McLaren were able to use the 1988 engine also.HoldenV8 (talk) 11:58, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Updates for 2012
Hi DH, I was just about to leave you a message saying I hope I've managed to update everything correctly for 2012, but I've just seen your latest edit, so I hope I haven't made too much extra work for you! At least I will know for next year now! Sorry for the mistake, and a Happy New Year to you!! Kind Regards, Schumi555 02:04, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Re: 1988 polesitters
You are kidding right? Thinking that people might mistake a qualifying position in bold for someone having scored points for scoring pole position? You really think people who know anything about Formula One will think that? Your call I guess but I doubt it makes anyone think that.HoldenV8 (talk) 10:24, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
- No, I wasn't kidding. And I was more thinking about people who don't know anything about Formula One. In the race results table, bold indicates points-scorers, so I think it would be quite reasonable for a non-expert to assume it means the same in the qualifying table (noting that numerous racing series do award points for pole position). Re:Racing driver results tables
Hi mate, thanks for pointing that out. I'll make sure I don't keep typing in a capital in future. Also thanks for replacing the capital in the results i've already added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matthew23415 (talk • contribs) 23:19, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
Re: Haas/Lola
No worries about the Haas Lola thing. I wasn't sure about that one but considering that every reference for other 'constructors' points to the team I thought it might be more appropriate than it leading to Lola Cars instead.
Re:Editing suggestions
I'll be adding qualifying times (that I have) for F1 Grands Prix from 1985-89. The results come from Nigel Roebuck's "Grand Prix" books that were produced for the 85-89 seasons.HoldenV8 (talk) 10:41, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited Hope chest, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kast (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

On Team Lotus (current)
Thought I'd pop a quick note to you saying that's no problem :) We all forget things from time to time but that's the whole benefit of having a community here! I did change another link to a article talk page discussion, but the remainder now left are either linking to RfD, the project, or other admin-type pages. Think we're all good now :) QueenCake (talk) 12:52, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Dates
In Erich von Manstein you have changed "22th of August 1939" to "22nd of August 1939". Whilst 22th is obviously wrong, my understanding of WP:DATESNO is that "22nd of" is also wrong, it should just be "22 August 1939" - or have I misunderstood something? - Arjayay (talk) 12:09, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
While I am glad that you undid this edit, you must admit that it was pretty damn funny. I prefer my vandals to be intelligent and humorous. ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃ (talk) 07:37, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

New lead for Mercedes in Formula One
First of all no problem! I do agree with you that the lead of Mercedes-Benz in Formula One needs changing, and through a fair bit of effort I have made an attempt at re-wording it into two paragraphs. The wording was problematic as you said, and I'm not sure if I'm happy with my efforts to be honest, but I think it could serve as a base to be further tweaked.
I also added in a bit on the engine supplier side, and while that may currently have its separate article, I feel Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains may eventually get merged into Mercedes-Benz in F1. Still that's a discussion for another day. Cheers QueenCake (talk) 19:31, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

Looks like we'll have to keep a continued eye on them; re-reverted a batch of them this morning, after they had been changed once again. Sigh, sigh, le sigh. Craig(talk) 07:38, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

"Fix ISBN" edits doing more than that?
I noticed this edit to List of common misconceptions did a lot more than fix an ISBN. It reverted the past several days of edits [1]. Some of your other ISBN fixes seem to have the same issue: [2], [3], [4]. What's up with that? —Mrwojo (talk) 16:32, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- I figured as much. Thanks for addressing the others. —Mrwojo (talk) 16:08, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Re: 1984 Dallas Grand Prix
Hi! Thanks for compliments. :-) I've noticed that there aren't a lot of circuit and some of that are wrong, so I asked to some users of it.wiki to correct the wrong images with some references I've found in the web. If you know that there are other track that are wrong report them to me and I try to found some references to correct them. :-) Restu20 11:51, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
