I'm done with Wikipedia!!!
Why was my revision undone? I didn't add the section about Survivor, I just added a detail about Yap based on the episode, which is relevant because betel nut is often consumed on the island. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JFreud (talk • contribs) 03:56, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Hi Dale
Just a quick query; you may remember that you produced an edit page for me to view the number of edits etc. It seems to have gone a bit 'haywire'. Please could you tell me if it will eventually put itself right and if not what is the best way of rectifying it? Thanks very much. VincenzoMc (talk) 18:33, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
- Dale - many, many thanks for looking at my edit page, it was very kind of you. Love the new and improved look. Once again - thank you for being someone that I can rely on. Vin. VincenzoMc (talk) 21:33, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
I apologize for accidentally changing your edit/page creation on Christina Machamer I accidental mistook it as Vandalism and reverted your edit by mistake. I hope you accept my apology. Mczack26 (talk) 18:00, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Far from it, I'm more of an anti-vandal. Once again though I must apologize. Thw worst thing was I actually watced the series and I know who she is though... :/
No... Sorry if I gave that impression.

Why nitpick? Because if you are passionate enough about a subject to turn it from a redirect into its own article, then take the time to do it right per WP editorial policies. SpikeJones (talk) 16:47, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
- You said So you admit to knowingly targeting an article that I edited in order to teach me a lesson? It just happens to be on my watchlist, as are hundreds of other articles that I have elected to monitor for no particular reason. Bad/incorrect edits are made, they are reverted. You were pointed in a direction to learn more about what you need to do to be a better WP editor. The circle of (WP) life continues. You seem rather accusatory, and unnecessarily so. Orphaned non-free media (File:Jezzdale3.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Jezzdale3.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:09, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Conditions of the mucous membranes
I am working on dermatology content on wikipedia, and through my work have developed a list of roughly 25 conditions of the mucous membranes that need stubs created. I noticed your work with regard to oral pathology, and wanted to know if you would help me create these articles? kilbad (talk) 21:25, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- Currently I am working on List of skin-related conditions, and in it there is a section of mucous membrane conditions (see: List_of_skin-related_conditions#Conditions_of_the_mucous_membranes). The conditions in that section were generated from the secondary sources cited in the bibliography. Perhaps you could help me make stubs of those diseases? kilbad (talk) 21:15, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Shalom! The table for dates of the halachic vernal equinox that you made is not quite right. The number of days between April 7, 2007, and April 7, 2008, is 366, not 365, so the halachic equinox should drop back a day.
Actually though, it's not very clear what is meant in the table. Whenever the right-most column says 0, then the halachic equinox falls at sundown on the date mentioned. When it says 6, it falls at midnight after the date mentioned. But when it says 12, it falls at sunrise on the next date. For instance, it was at sunrise on April 8, 2007, not actually on April 7, 2007. Then in 2008 it was at midday of April 7 again.
This pattern repeats every four years. Can you fix the table? If not we'll have to replace it or remove it since it's not correct as it stands.

Help
{{helpme}} For some reason, in Modi Rosenfeld, two boxes in the notes column have joined into one large box but I can't figure out how the HTML differs to cause it -- if you could have a look please. Thanx! DRosenbach (Talk | Contribs) 13:02, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- Looks OK to me - could you be more specific if the problem is still there? Stwalkerster [ talk ] 13:32, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- Looks fine to me too. Might be a browser thing. --Closedmouth (talk) 13:35, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- The boxes for Italian Husband and Stand Up in the Notes column are fused, and the upper line of the CSI:NY Notes box appears extra heavy (bold), but as you say, it may be just in my browser if neither of you can see it -- that's weird, though, isn't it? Image permission problem with Image:Misch web.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Misch web.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 12:47, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

- Sorry dude, it was just a joke! :S lol you're not the first person to have "not gotten" my humour... :P C.U.T.K.D T | C 07:48, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- I've just re-read your response. Even if I was being serious, whilst it would certainly be a violation of WP:AGF, how the hell would it have violated WP:C and WP:OWN?!? C.U.T.K.D T | C 08:31, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School
A tag has been placed on University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
