Ahem...

[edit]

Hope this isn't a (poor) joke. Think you'll have to prove your worthiness here. Expect scrutiny, mate.--Kieronoldham (talk) 02:22, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think that I can also say, that I welcome this kind of examination, because people need to know whether your president is a crook. Well, I'm not a crook. I earned everything I got." - Richard Nixon Dahmer's Refrigerator (talk) 04

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Doug Weller talk 20:44, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Wow! Wikipedia is a censored site. I didn't even get a warning. Would it be fair if I agree to only edit pages as a member of the Serial Killer Task Force, which is why I joined in the first place? I have other interests as you can see, like flight simulation, law enforcement agencies, and South King County, WA. It is not fair to conclude that I am "not here to build an encyclopedia". I have a lot to contribute. I was drunk the other night. If I am limited to editing serial killer pages, do I have to avoid Jewish serial killers? Dahmer's Refrigerator (talk) 03:59, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You were warned several times above. Having reviewed your talkpage posts, it looks as though you're clear here for the lulz; we don't tolerate that. Yunshui  07:56, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I never received those warnings. They were posted to this talk page in a 2 minute time frame while I was logged out and 7 minutes before the block took effect - again while I was logged out. I made no intervening edits, so there was effectively no warning. Dahmer's Refrigerator (talk) 03:28, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Warnings are not required, you can be blocked without warning if necessary. Given your talk page posts, I would concur with Doug Weller that you should only be unblocked if you agree to the topic ban he described. I'm also not a fan of the choice of username and think it would show good faith if you agreed to change it. I am declining this request. 331dot (talk) 08:47, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

OK, in return for the block lift, I accept the topic ban on American politics and religion and change my name. If the community desires ( and an administrator notifies me) I will go further and reoffer my proposal to only post as a member of the Serial Killer Task Force on serial killer (and related) articles. As for a name change, how about Gary's Paint Job? Dahmer's Refrigerator (talk) 02:43, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No. You are going to be happier trolling some other site. Yamla (talk) 11:42, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

For the benefit of the next reviewing admin, The requested username is likely a reference to Gary Ridgway, another serial killer. SQLQuery me! 08:48, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

To make it clear

[edit]

Editors who uses talk pages to say "Protocols of Zion are real. It is the Jewish fake news media that pretends it is fake." clearly aren't here to improve Wikipedia. So far as I'm concerned, you should only be unblocked if you accept a topic ban from all articles, talk pages, etc dealing with American politics or religion. Doug Weller talk 20:45, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Antisemitism has no place here

[edit]

Wikipedia is valuable precisely because it manages to combine so many different people. Antisemitism is hurtful and inconducive to that and has no place here Shushugah (talk) 22:11, 3 June 2018 (UTC) Shushugah (talk) 22:11, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

100th edit

[edit]

I just received a message to the effect that the community thanks me for making my 100th edit. What good is that if I am blocked from editing anything but my talk page, along with a vague threat to revoke my talk page editing ability if I cross a non-defined "red line"? Unblock discussion

[edit]

I'm not formally declining, but I have serious doubts even with the topic bans in place. I really feel like you are on the wrong encyclopedia project. It will help if you can describe in greater detail the sort of constructive, non disruptive edits you would make. Please clarify what you mean by "as a member of the Serial Killer Task Force". I will proceed with the rename.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 09:52, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Oh, Hell no. SQL posted this while I was composing. I reiterate my grave concerns about your ability to function as a member of this project. Rename not done.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 09:56, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
