Choctaw Chief

[edit]

Do you have any sources? This one seems to contradict the article. GtstrickyTalk or C 18:57, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind... I found a couple. GtstrickyTalk or C 19:04, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Line of succession to the British Throne

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Line of Succession to the British Throne, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Doops | talk 18:08, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just to add to Doops's remarks: If you read the article, it only includes descendants of the Electress of Sophia of Hanover. Henry I was from an older lineage. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 02:09, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am recommending this be merged into Choctaw for lack of notability. The content is also better-placed in the main article for better visibility and context. It is standard practice to add such "non-stand-alone content" to an existing article until there is a good reason to split it off, such as size or a general agreement among the editors of the affected article that it's time to split it off. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 19:03, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've also flagged the article as original research and flagged each of the names in the list for lack of references, and plan on deleting them in 5 days. If references are not added and I delete them, I plan on having the article deleted through proposed deletion or WP:Articles for Deletion or possibly even speedy deletion. Please avoid this by providing proper references. If you take no action, the article will likely disappear within 10-14 days from now. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 02:12, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Line of succession to the Choctaw throne

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Line of succession to the Choctaw throne, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 02:09, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quickly deprodded. On to AfD. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 04:11, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD Nomination: Line of succession to the Choctaw throne

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Line of succession to the Choctaw throne meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Line of succession to the Choctaw throne. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 04:10, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Category:Christians of Jewish origin (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for merging into Category:Christians of Jewish descent (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Justin Bieber, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ethnic background of Jennette McCurdy

[edit]

A reminder that even categories need to be supported by reliable sources. I've removed the two categories you added to Jennette McCurdy, because nothing in the article indicated that she was of that background. —C.Fred (talk) 18:45, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
