Polymers
[edit]Hello Dr. Flanagan, and welcome Wikipedia! I saw your post at the project page for polymers - at the moment, we do not have a standard for citations, so please feel free to add references in whichever manner you feel most comfortable with. Since this is a Wiki, these can always be corrected to a particular standard. There is this page which lists a method of adding references. There is also a numbering scheme which can be used - check out Template talk:Ref to see how references within pages is done.
In the meantime, you might want to check out our sister chemistry project. I will come back with more material to help you along with your editing. If you need any help, please feel free to contact me on my talk page - I am an administrator here, and would be more than happy to address any questions or concerns you may have. Welcome! --HappyCamper 15:32, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
- Gonzo job on Polythiophene! I can't understand a word but I find it delightful! Keep up the good work! jengod 05:20, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Polypyrrole
[edit]Hello! Your edits to polythiophene are wonderful. Here is a WikiThanks for you. At your convenience, would it be possible for you to look at polypyrrole as well? --HappyCamper 18:36, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry, not sure if I should be replying here on my page or on your page. I've been pretty busy with work, but I had a chance to go back in and finish the references and things on Polythiophene. (I still need to redo the figures.) I'm afraid I don't know very much about polypyrrole, and wouldn't be able to do a very good job on it. Solid phase peptide synthesis might be next, but I'd rather finish one thing before I start another. Cheers, Dave Dflanagan 17:44, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
David,
Your edition of polythiophene article is really great. It should be taken as an example of scientific article writing in Wikipedia. I wish I could add anything to this article. No, it is quite complete. Alexander Kelin 04:25, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Adfm0406_cover.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Adfm0406_cover.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ~ Wikihermit 01:08, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Adma1606 cover.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Adma1606 cover.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:58, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
